My name is Marie-Claude Bélanger and I was born in Montreal, Canada.

I was introduced to Chris de Burgh's music at a very young age. I was probably 9 when I started picturing myself singing with him. I hanged on to that dream and twenty years later during the Beautiful dreams tour, he asked the audience if someone would like to come along and sing with him. My brother pushed me in the alley and I ran towards the stage… the magic began and I sang "This Song For You".

I don't know if any woman has ever sung this song, but I like to picture this as a lady who remembers the man she loved.
