Hi - I'm 49 and live on the borders of Warwickshire and Leicestershire, right in the middle of England, with my husband Nick, three daughters Sophie, Alexandra and Natasha and our three dogs.

In June 2004 my Bavarian friend, André, asked me to go with him to Chris De Burgh's open air concert in Bamberg. It was the coldest June night I have ever encountered. After the introduction, one of the first songs Chris sang was The Same Sun. I'd never heard it before and it took my breath away. I've been playing guitar now (second time around) for two years. I play a 12 string Takamine and play The Same Sun almost everyday. As with lots of Chris de Burgh songs the words capture exactly how I feel inside. I have recently started having guitar lessons at home, and my wonderful teacher, Ade Holbrook, very kindly produced this track for me. It's such a pleasure to be part of Chris De Burgh's global fan club. Kind regards to all.
