Dear CdeB-Friends and -Fans,

"Missing You", one of Chris de Burgh's most known and powerful songs was my choice for this year's "Tribute-Project". Personally I do not have a special relation to this song, but I like the mood it spreads. I also like that this song can be performed in so many different ways. Chris de Burgh himself played it as far as I know in more than 3 different ways (only guitar, only piano and complete with band and percussion).

So I thought why not try to do a fast and somewhat rockier version of the song just for listening pleasure and fun, and not for intending something special.

I created a very simple drum-loop, played my part with the guitar. After that, I tried to enrich the sound a little bit with some background-choir from time to time. Some solo tunes also played with the guitar completed my interpretation of MISSING YOU.

It was fun doing it. I hope you like it a bit.

Thanks to all the people in the back of this project and especially to this year's "head of the project", Diana, for doing such a great job with so much love and effort. Again we have a wonderful piece of work in our hands. CdeB can be really proud of his fans!

As always, I am looking forward to the next upcoming event and hope to take part in it again.
