Say Goodbye To It All
Ron Rehrer from Van Nuys, California, USA
Ron lives in Van Nuys, which is near Los Angeles, California. He has been a fan of Chris de Burgh's music for a long time, and had twice the chance to meet him after a concert, in Montreal 1996 and in Cologne 1999, where to his surprise Chris de Burgh told him he remembered the first meeting! One of Ron's favourite songs has always been "Say Goodbye To It All", which is why he chose to record this version for the tribute CD. He was lucky to meet up with Brian Morton (see Sailor) in Hamilton, Ontario, so Brian took Ron to his studio and they recorded the song together. All background instruments and vocals are played by Brian Morton and accompany Ron's extraordinary voice to make this song a very special interpretation!
