I have all the albums CdeB has done (in the uk) and probably rank myself as one of his biggest fans.
I even named my daughter "Rosanna" after hearing the song.

All I want to hear next is an album of "Sequels", answering the questions he left us, such as...

did the ferryman make it to the other side? (dont pay the ferryman)

Who won the game of chess? (spanish train)

what happened to Patricia the stripper?

I could go on for hours.

I'm writing this message to give my opinion on what I think of Chris de burgh. Well I have got a lot to say. I think that Chris is a great artist he's a great singer and songwriter and I'm a big devoted fan of all time.

I have got all of Chris de burgh's Albums and I'm looking forward in getting his new album. It will be out before Chris does his European tour next year. Well talking about albums I recently received a charity CD, Friends Forevermore sung by Chris and by the Aravon School choir also Chris de burgh's son Hubie Davison has got a solo appearance on the title track. I'm a big fan of Chris de burgh I seen him in concert twice and I will be seen him again next year when he does his British tour I will be seen him in the Glasgow SECC. I will be sitting right at the front of the stage I can tell you I just can't wait until that moment comes. Chris is fantastic with the audience and everybody goes mad when he comes on to the stage. And I think the best part of the concert is when Chris plays his guitar by himself singing all his well known songs.

Yestarday I saw the video High On Emotion from The Nokia Nights of the Proems, and an actuation in the AVO Session 2001 in a swiss television Channel, it made my cry of emotion, my heart was beatting hard for a long time, it was wonderful.

since I was invited to the first concert of Chris (Flying clours in Frankfurt) and followed his his stories, albums and of course the concerts in Frankfurt, I recognized that in many songs are stories written by life. May be stories which you, Chris, had to go through in your own life or people you know very well. Music and songs are emotions - emotions of the textwriter, the componist, the band and the interpreter.

For this reasons its my opinion that you?re the right person to write a song to keep all the happenings of september 11 th, 2001 and all my kollegues and private people lost their lifes by the attacks in mind. Perhaps you?ve thought about that, yet.

May be, my dear Chris, we will meet on Oktober 17 th, 2002 on your concert in Munich in the back stage area, because I might be on Firesecure duty.

Me and all my kollegues, which are proud of the Rescueservices of New York, have a special identification and friendship to the NYFD since yeors. We all will be glad if a song of turns around the world for all the "heroes on the Ground zero". Please let us listen to such a song on your next tour an album.

I first was introduced to you when a friend of mine in senior high school, (long before i became a police officer) 'permanently borrowed' The Getaway album" from a music store (I was 14 at the time). I have fallen in love with your music ever since.

I missed you live in Cyprus in 1995 I was with UNFICIP in Cyprus and had to be at another engagement. I was so furious to miss that concert. I would LOVE,LOVE, LOVE to see you live but you never come to australia and your albums are so hard to buy here, we never get the good ones!!

I think I must be one of the yougest listeners of your music at 19. I often get the micky taken out of me yet I find your music not only relaxing but I often rely on your lyrics for lines which can be used to chat up the slightly more 'sophisticated' lady. Unfortunately I often end up with 'Fatal Hesitation' - I cant take rejection so I tend to wait, by which time its too late! Still keep up the good work - Im probably the only student who listens to your music - whats the world coming too and im not a social recluse! If you ever happen to read this guestbook, you must, if nothing else understand how us Americans really wish you'd do a concert here in the US. It was exciting to see you in Canada last year, but I truly believe you'd be a big hit if you ever did a tour hear in the states, maybe accompaning your next album. :). I must say that my favorite part of your concerts is when it's just you, solo, with no backup, thats why i hope to attend the CI concert.

Well, I am a great, great fan since about 15 (!) years now, and I visited nearly every concert which was in the area around Duesseldorf in Germany.
Since I know about the tour next year, I wait impatient to get tickets. Today I bought them for the Arena in Oberhausen (26.10.2002) an I am already
looking very forward to next year.
In fact that my fianc? and I love both your music, we will play "In a country churchyard" next August on our wedding ceremony in church...
I know already that I`ll be crying then...

We have lost a lot of people in the past three years and about a month ago we lost the father of my girlfriend.He had cancer and that period went by so fast. He was a fan of your music and the song i?m not scared anymore gave him and us so much courage to deal with this all. I?m a very big fan of you for years. First I saw you jumping on stage. That was so cute!After that I discovered your wonderful musik. I?m 30 now and had my first album (Into The Light) when I was 14. Now I have them all, of course. I will never forget my visit in Ireland. My grandfather lived there and me and my friend Lydia visited him. We were always driving around (so beautiful) and stopped at "Armstrong?s Barn". Your brother in law gave us the strongest coffie I ever had!!!!! And the best Russian pan-cake with caviar - a great time. Then Pierce Brosnan was shooting his film "Taffin" nextdoor. Oh, it was so exciting. The Nokia Night of the Proms was absolutely fantastic.
The great orchestra Il Novecento, Robert Groslot, Adiemus live, the show of Meat Loaf, Martin Frey, Laith Al-Deen, John Miles.

Hello to all the great fans of Chris de Burgh. I'm a big fan of Chris since I was ten years old my first song I heard was the "Lady in red" I'm now twenty one and still a big devoted fan. I seen Chris in Concert twice in Stirling Castle back in 1996 and in Glasgow SCC Centre back on decenber 2000.

I will be going to see Chris in Concert again next november 2002 when he does his british tour. I will be going to the Glasgow Cycle Auditorium and I can tell you I just can't wait. Look up the tour calender for details.

Well I do like all music from the early seventies up untill todays music but my favorite artist just has to be Chris De Burgh I have got every album from his first "Far beyond these castle walls" to his last "Notes from planet earth". I did here that Chris could be taking out a new album out next year I just hope he does.

Well, what can say about the king of love songs? Can I say he made us fall in love with an imaginary person because of his sweet romantic songs before getting it as a real thing? Can I say he made us the most romantic people who can express the true meanings of love, after quoting his wonderful words? Whatever I say, I won't be able to describe how great Chris is. His songs automatically entered my heart and soul immediately when I first listened to him in 1990. I couldn't believe it that there would be a singer who mastered the language of love. I like all his songs except one, which is crusaders. I'm a Muslim, and was sad o listen to that song. I just consider it as a mistake, because I'm sure if Chris knows that there was a single Muslim loved his songs he would never sing it, or at least change some painful phrases to his Muslim fans. Anyway, I still like him and always listen to his songs. Only Chris de Burgh, Air Supply, Chicago and then Modern Talking can make us deeply live in the realm of love. The very first time I had an opportunity to listen to Cris de Burg's song was when my brother Andrey brought a tape with "Don't look back". It was more than ten years ago in Kiev,Ukraine and I liked the music.

I used to listen to Chris de Burgh a lot. Espacially in the time between 1985 and 1989 I went to every concert here in Dortmund. For some reason I lost contact to his music untill I got "The ultimate collection" from a friend. Since then, I am waiting to see him again in Dortmund. Everybody, who has ever been to a concert of him can understand why.

I've seen 3 shows of Chris last weekend, Heilbronn, Schw?bisch Hall and Vechta, and I must say - besides the fact that I really enjoyed all of them - do us (the fans) a favour, stop to put chairs in the audience! Compairing the first 2 shows to Vechta, it's been a difference like day and night! We need to dance, to move, to sing loudly...and I bet Chris loves us to dance in front of the stage...who wants to sit ? Start a poll, nobody will answer with "yes"....
No really, I can listen to Chris' music sitting on my sofa or in my car, but at a concert I cannot sit still for a minute...

I have liked and appreciated the music of Chris De Burgh for many years now. Although, in society's eyes, I'm not supposed to like the music of Chris De Burgh - I'm 26 next year - His clever and witty lyrics, along with His memorable melodies, have always appealed to me. Although I have to hide my appreciation of HIs music from my friends, who may think I was a bit weird of they found out, I enjoy listening to all of Chris' records when I am home, alone. I enjoy listening to them a lot.
Another reason behind my liking of Chris De Burgh, was that He was close to another person I admire - Diana, Princess of Wales. I know that the late People's Princess had many, many, many records of His in Her collection, and it gives me a warm feeling inside just to know that I have a similar taste in music to such a warm, wonderful and caring person. If only She was still here to apreciate Chris' talents. But, She was taken from us for a reason, a higher purpose ? I'm absolutely positive of that.
Anyway, keep on rocking Chris!

I saw you Sunday in Vechta and now I have to say: It was indescribable good. I hear your music since twentythree years and I never get tired. And I ask me, how is it possible? I suppose, The idea to call two little Children out off the rain and on the stage, is one of the numerous reasons. I can't explain the feelings I have after the show in Vechta, but I can say: when ever I remember the two and half hours in the rain-and the story of the kangooros- I have to smile.My request: go on like that.

I can't wait for you to come back to Bournemouth on tour. When I gave you a small teddy bear last year when you were playing at the BIC you made me feel like I was the only person there and it is one of the most memorable occasions of my life. I have been a fan for many years and love nothing better than to play your songs on my piano and listen to you on my CD player in the car. You have a magic that is so hard to find these days and you make each and every one of your fans feel special. The Song Heart Divine on your Quiet Revolutions album is out of this world.
I play it and play it all the time and it always brings a lump to the throat.

In 1988 you made a special film for the
German TV that was called
"Eine musikalische Reise durch Irland".

In that little film you showed an organ
which your brother rebuilt and to demonstrate how it sounds you played
a beautiful song which I never found on any of your albums.

Well the first time I got used to listen to music, I started with
Chris De Burgh's songs and I'm really happy for the choice I made that time.
I began with "The last time I cried" and still after 8 years from the first time I started to listen to music, I still love his songs and still compeleting my colection of his songs.
I think the most important thing about his songs is that unlike all the other songs they are about real life and that they have meaning.
