Hi Chris,
can you do me a big favour pls. My daughter and me will fly in summer to germany to see your concert on the 5. of Sept. in Mainz. Since weeks she is studding some songs from you because she wants to sing with you on stage. I tried to explain her that this is not possible but she does not belive me.Could you send her maybe some nice words and explain it to her. You are her hero. Her name is Sophie, 9 years old and loves you a lot.
Thank you so much in advance.
(sorry for my bad english).

Dear Chris,
good to read from Astrid that you are just in a good health and working on your new album to which I am looking forward for sure. I had a wonderful week with a completely new experience to "The Same Sun". I was so trying to play it with the songbook and found out that you play it a bit different and while I rehearsed the song I was thinking about your last explanations in concerts that it could be like a celtic prayer. So I asked my family whether they will allow me to play this song for them live at home, because I had so the feeling that could be a family song too for better understanding. I did it and was pleased that this song brought them a smile in their face, even when it came from me. And the best thing in my rehearsals this week was to play to the Dortmund CD together with you. It doesn*t sound bad played with two guitars and it was a pleasure for me to have such a great guitar-teacher in you. Many thanks Chris, catched up this wonderful rhythm in the song. And I am happy with it.
Greetings with love
from
Monika

Chris, I borrowed some of your CDs (Road to Freedom, Footsteps, Timing is Everything) from the city library, and was pleasantly surprised. Time has given you a richer and more beautiful voice. Combined that with your writing talent, you have won my heart in 2010. I am telling my friends and going out to buy your CDs. BRAVO!!!!

Hi Chris,
I have listened to your music for a long time, and it's the only thing I listen to in the car. I did a rendition of Lady in Red when I was giving birth to my son!! (I was on the gas and air - incase you were wondering!) He loves you too now and always asks me to put your music on (he is only 3!!)
I also had Raging Storm played at my husband's funeral. He died 2 years ago at the age of 34!! Too young. It's an absolutely beautiful song and I play it when I want to have a moment to remember.
Please come back and do some more concerts in the North of England. I miss your music!
Love Katie xxx

I have always loved Chris De Burgh and his songs. all of them. I grew up listening to the. I feel nothing else, when im listening to them. my greatest wishes are to go to his concert, meet him in person. I feel somehow connected with him. like he is a part of me, or I see and feel my self in him and his songs and his voice.

Hi Chris,
many thanks for the wonderful 40th birthday card. And also many thanks to Doris, who obviously organized it. It was the biggest surprise of the day! Exactly 10 years ago I saw you in concert in Kassel and now you are again one of my highlights to start in a new decade. Thank You!
Im looking forward to your summer concerts!

Hi Chris,
friends of mine were in a musical called "What a feeling II" and the actors sing various songs from the 60's to today like Jailhouse Rock, It's my life, Jump and so on. They showed me the programme with all the songs enlisted and suddenly read "Lady in red" (Chris De Burgh).
I was taken aback and happy that they took one of your songs in.
I hope that the DVD of the summer concert won't be too shortened like it happened with the "Road to freedom" DVD. It would be great to have a DVD with a full concert on it and watch you singing the full 2 hours.
Cheers,
Monica
