Can't quite believe I have been so impetus...
I had the CdB newsletter this morning and saw that there was a "new" concert in Germany on 4th September.
On a whim checked it out and booked a ticket....2nd row seats.....!!!!
Then I thought ..while I was out there, it would be silly not to take in the last concert...the next night.
So, 30 minutes later....I now have two concert tickets for September...a well used credit card...........and NO idea how to get to either of the concerts.....
Bring on the adventure.....

Chris,
Going through my albums this evening I found several of yours, great memories from the 1980's in Germany. Your music seems, to me, a soundtrack for that time. After listening to a couple of the albums I googled your name to find your website and watched your video. Thank you for your beautiful music. Wishing you all the best,
Barry Brown

Dear Chris,
well it is short before Eastern as you know and around this time we have someone like the Easter rabbit for children in Germany, who puts things into little crafted nests. So we adults are just busy as Easter rabbits here. But you are not forgotten from these Easter rabbits and as surprise you can look in youtube. There is a new film about Merkers last year for you.
Happy Eastern Chris and Band and Family!

Hi Chris, I hope you and your family are well. I just finished reading your "Authorized Biography" by Tony Clayton-Lea, I ordered the book in an English book shop, because it isn´t on sale in Germany. For everyone, who is interested in your life and career, from the first years until 1995, that is a "must have". I was impressed about the sensibiliy, the biography tells from business life and also about the private man Chris de Burgh. I read the Dave Thompson biography before, but that one is much better. Have a nice Sunday, I hope Liverpool will win the match this afternoon, my familiy is watching it at time ( they are great Liverpool supporters!!!). Regards from Berlin, where finally spring is on its way. Andrea Wenig

I've grown up with some of Chris' songs, and they still are among my absolute favorites. And each of them is bound to a memory, a person, a place, a key event of my life.
Thank you, Chris, you gave me something to hold on to, when everything around was collapsing. I hope I'll have the chance to come to one of your concerts.

Dear Chris,
indead it is a great surprise that you begin to write Motl again. I wish you very much joy for recording the songs to your new album and meanwhile I am looking forward to the next concerts of you. My eyes can see again, thanks a very good eye-doctor in this town, so I can read your Motl once again. Some evenings are free to listen to all the other albums of you. The golden edition is very good to cleaning or creating something on the walls of a room here. Everything goes easier with this CD from you.
Many thanks for all your music, films, little messages, that help me so much in comming forward with something. I must say I enjoy the youtube films too about your work, like others do.´
I wish you a lot of happy working days next time!
love
Monika

Mon cher Chris,

I have enjoyed Chris de Burgh since I was a teenager. I have rediscovered his music but am not current with what he is recording as it is hard to find his music in the States. I love that I can now listen on-line.

Looking forward to your next visit to our beautiful country. I haven't missed a show here. I've taken my parents/hubby/and 3 out of my 4 kids to your show. I need one more tour here, so I can take my youngest daughter. I've been listening to your music since I was in grade 9, when "Don't Pay the Ferryman" came out, then "High on Emotion". I love your music. I have all your music, and find it quite inspiring. Thanks, keep the music coming. Jan

Hi there, Chris
On Saturday, I was given the most incredible gift - an electronic keyboard - quite a big one with all the different sounds and touch buttons, etc. I play music by ear and guess what? I am playing your songs!! The Words I love You was my first. I just love that song and the video of you singing with the band in Iran is awesome. This is magic. Your Valentine evening seemed to have been a huge success - so sad we could not see you! You are the greatest and wish you were here!
Lots of love, Sharon xxx
