Hope you had a lovely Christams with your family. I certainly did because my sister gave me Moonfleet as a Christmas present (she had to order it as an import cause it's still not available here in Canada). There is nothing quite like a new Chris de Burgh album to make the perfect Christmas. Unfortunately it sure looks like 2011 will not bring you to Montreal, but I still hope the New Year brings you nothing but happiness and health.

I must urge every Chris De Burgh fan to visit the ASDA web site and put a review of Moonfleet and Other Stories on. Chris has now gone from number 11 to number 5 over Christmas. I have been listening to Chris' music since I was a teenager. Since then I have brought up my own family naming my eldest daughter Rosanna.Life has been busy and I lost touch with Chris' music. Somehow it´s crazy that i listen to this music right now. I mean only one year before i was emocore and metal fan and now I really love the CdB music, and by the way I´m only 16...and therefore a lot of my friends make fun of me and say in this oh-my-god-voice: It´s a kind of music, which is made for older people and bla bla bla( I think you can imagine). But I just smile because I feel connected to a lot of his songs and on top of that it´s still my desicion what I want to hear, isn´t it?
Anyway I´m looking forward to april 2011, when he gives a concert in Leipzig... so till then nice greets from Leipzig and Merry christmas and a happy new year!!!(I hope my schoolenglish is not that horrible :D)

Sorry to hear about all the financial troubles in Ireland. Hope things get better in the coming year. Things have not been perfect in Canada either and people are getting squeezed by a lot of tax hikes at every level of government, municipal, provincial and national. It is especially difficult for young people who are trying to get an education and have to face ever increasing tuition fees, and for those who are just entering the work force. Hopefully everything gets better eventually.
It seems to me the Irish have had far too much adversity in their history. Our thoughts are with you all in these difficult times.
