Dear Chris,

We are looking forward to your visit to Amsterdam on 21st September. We always go to your concerts when you're in The Netherlands together with our 2 best friends Cees and Ineke Slokker. They booked for the 4 of us early this year. Sad to say that Ineke passed away on 24th July - they played your song ' Lady in Red' at her funeral. My husband, Jan, is also very ill at the moment. He was operated on in June and is now having radiation till 4th September, so I don't know if he'll be able to go to the concert. I certainly hope so - if not I'll prpobably bring my daughter, Amanda. Anyway I'd really like to request a song for Ineke. Would you please sing ' Missing you' for her and for us? That would be a great comfort. Many thanks and kind regards. Good luck on your tour.

Dear Chris,

I am writing here to thank you for all the sympathy you have for Iranians you know well.
You should know when I told some of my friends about your support and sympathy, they became really happy.
on these gloomy days that we are filled with anger, hope and disappointment all together, we really need to hear from all free human beings all around the world.
Dear Chris, what you did means a world to us
Sincerely,
Ali

P.S:Let's restlessly, to the best of our abilities, make these days alive till the victory! We can't morally forget all the sweet and bitter memories of the moments we have passed. For the sake of all the people who sacrificed themselves, let's make them everlastingly unforgettable

Dear Chris,
I'm one of your thousend fans in Iran I love many of your songs and saved them in memory.
as you might already know, we in Iran are so much under pressure specially after 2009 elections.
the cruel government responded gun shots against our people's silence in protests and nobody can claim this.
protesters never damage anything they just wanted freedom and back their votes as every human has this right to talk and think freely we even can't think freely we must think the way they like!!

I know there's no advantage for you to have a role in this game.

but as a human if you have a broken heart for Iranian people and if you have sympathy with Iranians and your fans in Iran let us have gift with your heavenly voice let us have a song from you about Iranians green movement for freedom...
LET US BREATH
HELP US PLEASE

Some minutes ago I listened "Lady in Red", played in an FM Clasica of Rosario town.

That took me to search some information about this superb song which I had listened several times before.

It was great to discover that Chris was born in Argentina and have Irish ancestors.

Best Regards,
