Hello Chris,

LOVE the video of The Bells Of Christmas - it is such a different way of presenting a song and I HAVE to smile every time I watch!

A friend in Germany kindly arranged to get the special edition of Footsteps for me and it's playing every day right now.

I am very happy to hear of the 2010 tour and very much hope to get to Germany. Sadly lots of fans here in the U.K. are not in the position to get abroad to see you. So a few gigs in the U.K. (even a couple PLEASE?) would be wonderful. Thanks!

It's all very good 'therapy' as you know!

From the heart!

Chris R

Dear Chris,
in twentyfife nights is Holy Night here in Germany. The christmas-markets opened meanwhile so it is time to search for a "Glühwein, a Schnaps and a Curry-Wurst" now! After all this I will get "stomachache" as far as I can remember what you told us down in Bavaria. So it is better to avoid these things to eat and to drink to much of it. Chris how is Christmas in Ireland?
love
Monika

Dear Chris,

Hope you and your wife had a wonderful anniversary. Thank you for posting the Christmas song video. I hate to say it but every time I see new concerts added in Europe it lessens the chance you'll ever come our way. Please consider visiting Montreal in the spring. Some of us just can't afford to travel so far. All the best for the upcoming Holiday season.

Hi Chris,

well what a great end to a horrible week for Stewart and myself. Some concert dates for 2010 :-)))))))))))

The last 10 days have been horrible for us as one of our 17yr old cats became unwell suddenly and passed away on Tuesday evening. Her twin brother must wonder what has happened to his 'sis'. Both of us and our daughter were/are still devastated about her death. She was like one of the family. I guess only another animal lover would understand how we felt when it all happened and still feel right now. But life must go on, and there are many more worse things happening in the world right now.

But I'm soo pleased that we have some 2010 dates and we already have good seats for 2 of the shows :-)))))

Love and hugs as ever,
Chris(W)thebluehealer

Hi Chris,

With the holiday season coming, I was delightful to hear and see your Christmas song video. That's give us a little bit of warm here in cold Montreal. We are not seeing you too often those years! I think I will become a German citizen! That could be an amazing Christmas if a few dates in Quebec were announced. Hope to see my dreams coming true. A fan desperately hoping to see you again!

Hi Chris,

I've watched the video to „The Bells of Christmas“. It's such a nice video. I like the insertions of you playing the drums or you and the band dancing to the music. It seems you andt he boys having had much fun with the video. I have to say that the video lifted my mood up for the day as it's made very lovely.
It would be great for us fans to have it to be able to watch it every time we want on the DVD-Player. To watch it on your website for the first time is nice, but I for myself would like to watch such things without having to turn the computer on for watching the video. Beautiful song and beautiful video for people like me who don't have a family to celebrate Christmas with.
What about putting the Christmas video onto the DVD with the concert from Kiel as a little bonus feature?

Such an extra would make the DVD even better!!!

A belated happy anniversary to you and Diane from me, too. I hope you had both a nice day to celebrate this day and weren't affected by the floodings in the west of the country.
A letter is on its way to you. I hope you will get it despite the floodings in your country and possible disturbances in mail delivery in parts of the country.

Yours,
Monica

I just want to tell you: It feels so good to hear "Bells Of Christmas" over your website. It is the completely right song between "White Christmas" and "Jingle Bells". And that created from you!:) A really very, very good song. Thank you very much for creating it. I think I will hear this song very often during the Christmastime here, for sure with joy.

Hi Chris,
I've just watched an excellent video with a faboulous newcomer band performing "The Bells of Christmas"! Wow, they dance much better than Take That at the peak of their success... and even more important: They look better, play much better and are much, much more fun! Lovely and catchy song, am going to watch the video a few more times right now, xx Sibylle

PS The lead singer obviously is extraordinarily multi-talented, I can hardly wait to see him live playing the drums

Hi Chris

We were at your concert at Kirstenbosch on Thursday night and it was absolutely fantastic! We did not want the show to end.

This is the first show we have gone to and - wow - what an experience. Thank you very much.

According to your website, you seem to be VERY VERY busy, going from one end of the world to the next. This brings me to a question, do you have a family? Do they come with you? I hope so!

We are the proud owners of your Footsteps CD which was purchased in August 2009. What a wonderful CD which we listenr to very often.

Out of the many Artists out there - you are the most genuine of all, with a lovely kind face and soft eyes. Nothing superficial about you which makes you stand out above the rest.

Thank you for being you and may you be blessed in many ways.

Love

Dear Chris.

I grew up with your music and is raising my kids on it as well. My husband must be your biggest fan ever. We saw you in Bloemfontein in May 1996 and agaib=n at Carnival City on 15 Nov 2009. We took our children with. You shook my son's (aged 10) hand and danced with my daughter (aged 12) when you sang Lady in red. Thanks for giving them a lifelong memory. Your show was amazing, and we still think you are the best stoty teller ever.

Dear Chris,
Last night at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens was the first time I had the privilege to watch you live in concert and it exceeded my wildest dreams and expectations. What an experience! Your presence on stage, the way you held the crowd captivated the whole time, your beautiful amazing voice throughout the 3 hours will always be with me forever, not to say the least of that precious hug! (I had the privilege of being the recipient of the first hug of the night during the Lady in Red walkabout). The song selection was the best ever, especially the Just another poor Boy bit, seeing as this was the first song of yours I heard so many years ago.
I hope you had a lovely stay in sunny Cape Town. Please come back soon and never stop singing!
Love and hugs

Dear Chris,

I bet that you had a great time performing in SA. Too bad that I could not come to Cape Town like you recommended that concert to me. Because of the illness of my husband I had to stay home but I'm looking forward to the Moonfleet Tour in 2010.

I also listened to the Christmas song that you already performed in Kiel (at least parts of it), it's a very melodic song that will be part of my Christmas time. It seemed you (and the band) had great joy doing the video!

Have a safe trip home and a peaceful Christmas time!

All the best for you, your family and the band from Birgit

Hi Chris,

I've seen the summary of the game from Wednesday. it's a pity that Ireland is out of the competition. And all because of a mistake of the referee as Henry definitily used his hand for help to keep the ball.
I don't know if you have taken a look into the mailing list. According to the moderator of the sports channel, your music was played during the break when Ireland played at Croke Park on Saturday, but I don't know which song it was.
Anyway, it's a shame that Ireland is out because of an unattentive referee. I would have loved to see Ireland playing in the finals.

I hope you have got my birthday card plus letter and have read it.

Cheers,
Monica

Hey Chris

Fabulous show in Jhb on Saturday (14 Nov). I'm one of your younger generation fans, having been raised with a life-long fan in the form of my mother.

I'm proud to say I'm not shy of supporting you, to the absolute delight of my friends. They've teased me mercilessly since I told them I went to your concert, but I think they're just jealous.

Your voice is still just as fantastic as what we hear on your CD's, if not better. It really was one of the beset live performances I've ever had the peasure of attending, and as a 21-year old varsity student, I've been to my fair share.

Keep up the wonderful work. You;re an inspiration

Love,
Amy

Hi Chris
I would like to say "THANKS". I have now been to 4 of your concerts, and I promise you, if you're back in SA again, I'll be there again. This time, I attended your concert with my Mom who is 63. I will be 40 this week, and what a birthday present from my parents. The show was amazing.
The last time I saw you in concert was on the occasion of your 50th birthday, which I will never forget. We danced at the edge of the stage, thanks to you inviting us to the front. You placed the microphone towards the audience for a sing along, and it was right at me, and I was totally starstruck. Thanks for your awesome music, but more importantly, for your entertainment. You are truly a talented performer, with a huge stage presence.

Thanks again - you NEVER fail to impress.

Hi Chris !

My girlfriend and I have been huge fans of yours for ages and she is affectionately know by me (and many friends ) as ''Lady In Red'' as it's her favourite colour and was inspired by your song of the same name. I am a Dj and have played this song out on too many occasions to remember and it's probably the main song in our ''music to make love to '' play list. She really is obsessed with your music and it would such an honour for us both if we could meet you for a few seconds after the show for an autograph . I honestly cannot think of anything else that would make her happier.
Thank you for the many happy memories and best wishes for tonight's concert ...

Hi Chris,
just want to say that we have just listened to The Bells Of Christmas on a German rdaio station via the good old 'internet'...and it sounds great and tells so well about people being lonely at Christmas, and how we should help them etc. The chorus is really really catchy and I really hope that it gets played on the UK radio stations as well as the German ones, as we could do with a new Christmas song here in the UK.

Today is also Stewarts 'big' birthday so it was an added treat to hear it this evening of all evenings......but everything is tinged with real sadness right now, as one of our cats is very ill in the animal hospital, and we are praying that she will pull through. She is part of our family for many many years now.

Hope the tour in SA is going well, it sounds from the messages here in your guestbook, that it is.

Love and hugs as ever,

Hi Chris,

a German sports channel showed the football match Ireland vs. France live in full length. It is very seldom to see a full game from Ireland in German television, so I was very happy to see this game. Usually, the channels only show the games of the German team in full length.
The Irish team played very well in the first half and had a lot of chances, but the ball didn't find the inside of the goal. It is really a pity that they couldn't turn one of these chances into a goal. The second half they lost their superiority and France became the better team – and made a goal.
It is a shame that they couldn't keep up the good playing of the first half. I would have wished Ireland to qualify for next year. I cross my fingers now that they win on Wednesday. If not they're out of the competition.
Unfortunately, only the pay TV is probably broadcasting the full game – which I don't have. So, I can only watch a summary of the game.

I hope they will make two goals against France to stay in the championship!!!

Cheers,
Monica

I have been going to your concerts since 1979. I was there on 15 November 2009. It was magic. Thank you for coming back to South Africa, again and again.

I wish you and your Family a Merry Christmas and all the best for the future tours.

Regards
Monika

On 22 May 1995 you had a show in Klerksdorp. After the show you went to a pub called "Legends". The owner of the pub, Mrs. Raylene Chapman will be flying down to Durban tomorrow to see your show. I was asked to request if you could please dedicate "Lady in Red" to her, as she especially had a stunning red outfit made for your show. I understand she will be sitting in the 5th row. Thank you so much, I'm certain my Mommy will would appreciate it.

Kind regards
Mikél

I went to the concert at Carnival City last night. What a really fantastic show. It's been a long time coming. I first saw Chris in concert in Johannesburg in 1980 without knowing too much about his music, but I was hooked and have followed his musical career ever since, buying every single record and CD,and attending his concerts whenever he toured South Africa.
The music was amazing, the song selection was amazing, the engery was amazing and Chris, as always, was amazing - he has lost none of his stage presence or charisma, and his voice was in top form - truly amazing...
Thank you for a wonderful show, please come back again soon - we've been missing you.

Fantastic music, especially the newly released "You'll never walk alone" with my good friend George Sephton as one of the vocalists. Great Chris that you are still supporting Liverpool FC with a passion. Hopefully the fortunes of the "Reds" will soon take a turn for the better.
Best wishes from Liverpool.
