It was very interesting ready the biography. It appeares like Lady in Red, High on Emotion etc. were songs that let Chris rise to the top. In my estimation, these were his "sell out" songs. (created to appeal to the mass market) These songs are also my least favorite of Chris deBurgs music. Chris is one of the finest story tellers and this is where his music shines.

Would love to see pictures of the Hotel/Castle

Hello!
My mother is cracy about Lady in Red!!! She heard it just few weeks ago for the first time. Can you believe it? My sister had to translate the lyrics into finnish so she understod what Chris is singing. When I showed her this site and the tour calender, she started to wonder whether she should tavel to London... and she doesn`t like to fly... So you can imagine how deep this love is... ;)

Hello Mr. Chris de Burgh,

i find your music too beautiful and the feeling songs to my Life.
Simply the best song is "lady in red" for your Daughter and "Dont play ferryman".

I find beautiful your normality to buisness and between a life seetings and a Family.

i likes a modesty and the loosens art.

Hi Chris,

What a wonderful surprise to hear you phone in to talk to your guitarist Al Vosper who was featured on Radio Caroline on Tuesday!

Sounded like it was a huge surprise for Al when he heard who was on the phone too!

It was really great that you gave him the thumbs up for his new album 'You Don't Know Me'. I agree it's beautiful! He's a very talented guitarist and vocalist.

So you are very busy recording some special tracks with artists from Iran and Lebanon... Sounds most interesting and hope to hear the finished results soon?

Please don't work too hard - save some energy for November (especially the end of the show?) Thank you!;-)

From the heart!

Chris R

Dear Chris,

I can buy a CD or I can buy a concert ticket. Why? I recently received a voucher from my children and their friends. Therefore you should/could consider releasing a new album sooner or later or you 'have to' announce new concerts in Germany in 2008... :-)

Missing you, Gerlinde

Dear Chris,
This is about my MotL question regarding "The Maze", so lovely answered by you. I was in our Garden Park "Schönbusch" yesterday (I have avoided it up to now) and saw that they are building a new maze - exactly the same as before, the only difference is that they are building a wooden fence, supposed to prevent people in the future from breaking through the hedges, leaving holes.
The new one will be beautiful.
Love,
Sophia

I find it funny because Chris is not from my age group. I am 25 years old, and the only reason I ever heard this CD was because of my step mother back when I was real young had one of his CDs, and so I listened to it to put me to sleep. I then bought it years later, and still play it on my iPod. There is just something about his music the makes me want to listen to it, and sing. I now currently listen to him with my wife and child. Keep up the good work Chris.

Many thanks for your music....
In 91' one woman ask me: Have you some Chris deBurgh CD's? He is my favourite singer. And I answer: Who is it? :-)
Well it was so long ago. Now I have all your songs. And my favorites - Man on the line & Flying colours.
Memories of best pieces of life...with your music.
Thanks a lot.

Dear Chris,
I got it. Thank you very much! When I had a little bit time after work now, I began to read the MOTL-archive from the beginning and at first I found, that "The Leader" Trilogy is the Battle of Armageddon. I had never heard from it in lessons of religion and I was so surprised, when I found more about it in Internet. With the film I was always remembered to szenes of the second World War or any war, what I had seen on television. So the film includes that what humans should avoid to do to make the earth not worse, instead of it a little bit more thinking about the future of a return of a king of peace? I think so, Chris and excuse me I'm a little bit confused about the new information to this song, but positively confused, because I can learn from you to see things, which I'd never seen before. Thank you! when I can come through with a question about the MONKs in your song in the MOLT section, I would be pleased to read an answer from you.
still with love
Monika

Hey Chris,
Recently purchased storyman on c.d. It's superb! My favourite track is mirror of the soul, but are too many corkers on here that it should stand out.

Any fans out there who haven't got this album need to purchase it pronto!

Cheers Chris, lovin' your work!

Me and my wife happened to listen to one of your CDs for the first time; we fell in love with the lyrics, its message and the enchanting voice itself. Now we're on for the hunt for your cd's. I hope they are available here in Canada (i.e. in Future Shop, Best Buy, etc.). Thank you for your music. We are able to have a more romantic Saturday evenings. Glad we were able to come across to some of your songs. More power and God bless you, Mr. de Burg!

Hi Chris;

Hope that you and your family are well.
It's my son Harrys 11th birthday today, and i wanted to wish him happy
birthday.

He asked me earlier this year if i could take him to one of your concerts,
unfortunatly it won't be this year so i've made him a promise that if you tour next year or the year after i will take him to see you. I will be very proud to do this ....i will be the one beaming in the audiance as this will be Harry's first concert!!!!
What a fab one to start on.

Best wishes

Hi Chris,
Well it’s practically 4 weeks since the tour ended and it already feels like it was a life time away!! But I guess before we know it, it will be November:-) least that’s what I’m hoping!!

I guess that right now you must be ‘grinning’ ear to ear what with Liverpool FC’s current position in the premiership :-)) OK, we know that after Chelsea play later this afternoon, they will go top…but what a great 2 games from Liverpool in the last week and both without
Stevie G!! And yesterday without 2 other big names as well!!

Actually over the last days I have found some time to start putting all my concert photos into albums and I have to admit it is bringing back some pretty good memories of some great concerts, even if the weather was horrible for a lot of them.

Greetings to you and the family,
Love and hugs as ever,
