Hi Chris,
I received Much More Than This, the anthology yesterday. I have to say everything about it is fabulous.
I have to say I was very impressed with the presentation of it. The 4 disc were great and I loved your unreleased material. I loved all the pictures, however I thought you looked very sad in the pictures on pages 48 - 49.
I look forward to reading all the pages and it is indeed a wonderful colletctor's item to have.
Well done and thank you for the great music over the years.

Dear Chris, it's good to get back on line and read motl and the guestbook, i'm on a "borrowed" computer over at my new daughter in laws parents as we're offline due to flooding, what a nightmare, we've moved into the honeymooners home with our 2 dogs for 2 weeks while they're away then we're at my mums' for 1 week while she is away.Hopefully we're getting back on line over the weekend but we're due more flooding - what a smell and what a mess. I feel much better now i've been able to have a "chat".Love always, Pauline, The Yorkshire Rose XX

Dear Chris,
I can hardly imagine a singer with such an inspiring power (of ten). Your songs have always been a part of my English Training classes during my 12 years of experience in teaching the language. You won't believe how contributing your songs are both in words and in spirit to my students.
I know it is a tough business, but why an angel like you stopped? The world is full of ladies in red waiting for your quiet revolution to carry on.
BR,
Reza

Hello Chris
The more I read all the comments in the Guestbook, the more disappointed I am. You have a load of tour dates in Germany in July, and now you have a few more in the UK - but nothing in Ireland. Why? You live here. I live here. My friend Naomi lives here and we went to see you in Killarney and we want to again and are soooooo upset that you are not in concert here too.
Last Friday a group of us went out
for a meal to a pub on the shores of Lough Derg and towards the end of evening, one of the group started to sing Patricia, with great gusto! It was great to hear and I was singing it with gusto in Killarney too - and want to again - whilst you are playing.
Please please will you do a concert in Ireland and cheer myself and Naomi up....
Love
Lesley

Hi, Chris,
I fell in love with "The Lady In Red" long before I read the 'behind the song' story... I knew it had to be something like that (women's intuition *smile*).
I have given my url as the page where I have uploaded "The Lady In Red" as background music for the page. I have mentioned as you will see that it is for entertainment only... and included a link to your website and encouraged everyone that any of your CDs with "The Lady In Red" is a MUST HAVE for at home dancing music.
I do hope you approve because... "The Lady In Red" and so much more of your music should be heard... everywhere.
Thank you for sharing your heart and talent with all of us. We are truly blessed to be able to enjoy your music.
See you at the next pass...

Firstly, Thank You so much for sending the signed photos for myself & the charity. I was wondering if I sent some copies of your new CD could you please sign them & send them back?
If not it's OK. One would be for myself & the other for the charity event auction in the states.
Either way, Thank you again for the signed pics & Thank you for taking the time to read this e-mail.

Dear Chris,
I'm already counting down to the very day(s), they are drawing near and I'm burning with impatience.
Today is actually June 10th, which means only ONE month / four weeks and two days / 30 days / 720 hours / 43,200 minutes or 2,592,000 seconds to go till the final evening in Regensburg followed by Augsburg and Chiemsee!!!! Just as long to wait as it had been from my last message up to now. As a matter of fact it didn't take so long at all, did it? :-) At last it is not such a long way off anymore but this period of time seems getting more likely to grasp.
Good luck with the last preparations for this tour, much inspiration and of course lot's of pleasure in what you are doing!
See you quite soon! *big smile on my face*

Hello Chris and fellow Chris fans...
Well last time I wrote I told of a film I was going to be in where my character was mysterious and reminded me of "Don't Pay the Ferryman". Well I am done shooting and it was soooo much fun! Anyway, today was a wrap party of sorts, not the whole film, but Dominic Monaghan is in it (Lost, Lord of the Rings) and today was his last day. Anyway many people from Ireland, England etc. are working on the film. So I was talking you up as my favorite music maker of all time. Incidentally one of the crew has worked with Rosanna and reports her, besides beautiful, to be a really genuine and wonderful person. That made me smile. Dominic does know a bit of you and remembered a song by a few key words which I figured out to be "A Spaceman Came Travelling". He recognized it. Especially when I sang "and it went, La,la,la,la etc." Anyway, it's fun to mention you to people who know who you are. The director's sister has seen you 8 times in concert. Yeah! It was so fun to talk to her. Anyway, check out isellthedead.com. I'm in the second picture down with the white mask. We are The House of Murphy. Take a look.
Love,
Heather

Dear Chris,
I was just looking through my films of the last year with you and band inside. Excuse me please, when I did something wrong. I think you have them now, when noone catched them away. What a wonderful memory at the moment. For sure I could not stop me listening through your CD's. By the way, when I hear The SToryman, I think about River Dance, what I have seen some years ago and it was wonderful to look at. I think you know this show "Lord of the Dance". The holidays this year are comming nearer and nearer and I am looking forward to see you in Regensburg, Abenberg, Kempten, Chiemsee and Augsburg again this year, with the hope my old VW-Golf-Variant will not make problems like in the last year during the tour to you. It was not easy to find a famos Chris de Burgh again, but I found you!:))) It will be nice to see Chris and Heike and perhaps Lore and Kurt again for a moment, before we listen to you. Actually the sun is shining in Ingolstadt and the lemon-trees are growing, the dog feels well and the work goes on with lots of children in this town from every nation. It is an interesting work for me and the concertdays are safe now. Thank my manager and my collegues I can go one more mile to see you. Well,Chris, some Germans would still say: "I go much miles for a camel filter", but there are much more now,who say: "we go miles for Chris de Burgh in concert!" If I have forgotten to write you something, please excuse me for it, I'm awaiting you, perhaps we can talk some words which should be spoken.
Oh I still love you Chris

Hi Chris!
Recently I read a newspaper advert about your upcoming german summer tour
in which your concert in Kempten was announced with "Chris de Burgh - solo - and friends", which confused me a bit.I wonder, which "friends" you will bring along. Of course it would be very nice to see you singing with Kristyna Myles once again, or to enjoy Peter Oxendale accompanying you! But on the other hand - there is nothing else I need than you - only you - solo! And if you badly need a friend - look out for me in the audience row 1, Parkett links innen, seat 28 , I will be there for you ;)!
Only 39 days till Augsburg and 42 till Kempten, that really makes me happy!
Love you and miss you,
Nicole

Hi Chris!
I'm a fun-loving (if slightly loud) soon-to-be 23 year old lady and I really think I might be your biggest fan!
I am currently taking some time out from my regular Western life (which involves milking cows on my farm in North Wales) to complete an internship in human rights law in The Republic of Ghana. As I sit here in my office with your voice serenading me whole-heartedly from the old gramaphone, which stands in the corner of this sundrenched African enclave, dust rises from the ground and I imagine how it would feel to hear your soft voice live in concert- I shiver with excitement!
Please please please could you let me know when you will be passing through North Wales (near my home at Nanhoron) so I can arrange a time to hear your soft song fill my large pink ears (I burnt them in the Ghanaian sun). I'm a pretty good pianist and would love you to sing while I play for you!
Many thanks and much love,
Matty Harden

Your Excellency Mr. de Burgh,
I watched your interview on LBCI and was very touched by your words regarding the troubled Middle East region. I am of Palestinian origin, was born in Beirut in 1972 but grew up in Greece because of the war in Lebanon. I would like to say, as a big fan of your music for the past 3 decades, a big thank you. You are a very special, talented artist and are very well respected and admired. I wish you a life time of continued success.
