Hi Chris! :)
I had the wonderful opportunity to see you in Toronto in 2003, front row center and what a dream come true. You have captured my heart many years ago, maybe because of the Irish heritage, who knows? Of all the lyrics you have written, There's Room in My Heart Tonight is my utmost favorite, hope that I someday meet with you in person if you find your way back to Nova Scotia again... a devoted fan, cheryl

I have loved Chris De Burgh's music since 70's. I have got most of his records on 33" LPs and am now collecting them on CDs. I hope he will continue to produce wonderful music and lyrics for years to come.

Dear everyone
It´s amazing to see that allmost every mail is from another destination on our
globe.
So Cris´ music seems to "unify" the world in a way.
Why don´t politicians, leaders and peoples do the same great job?
Live could be so easy.
I do have a dream:
Let´s work for a peaceful
world- no matter which religion or confession - all together!!

Dear Chris,
I read an article concerning your German Summer Concerts 2005:
Last year Chris de Burgh was here in Germany on tour to present his 'Road To Freedom'. In July he will come again to do 18(!) concerts. It must be LOVE. :-)
Thank you. Be sure - we love you, too.
Missing you, Gerlinde
P.S. ...and you will never know how the owner of "my" ltttle music shop in Öhringen is calling me. :-)

Just bought "The Road to Freedom" and the tribute track "Songbird", obviously for the late Eva Cassidy, reflects my thoughts and feelings so closely. Thank you for the words and song.
The rest of the album is awesome, in particular "Rose of England"
Thanks again

Hi,
Received the DVD "Road to Freedom" and it is Chris de Burgh at his best. Few entertainers are able to do what Mr. de Burgh does with only his guitar and piano.
It is wonderful to have a DVD released in the USA and I highly recommend it.

Dear Chris,
my name is Eva and I come from Germany. About three years ago I have heart for the first time a song of you. It was the song "Lady in red" on TV. I have had liked it and have bought my firdt CD of you. In the meantime I have a lot of. All songs of you I find very good, but my favoured songs are "You look beautiful, Borderline and Lady in red".
In summer 2004, I have seen you live of a concert in Mettlach (Germany). It was the first concert where I have seen you live, but it was grateful and because of that I will see you in this July in Mainz. I´m very happy for that.
Sorry, my english isn´t very good, but you can see, I come from Germany.
I wish you a good time and I´m very happy for 24. July.
Yours faithfully
Eva

Hallo to all fans from Chris de Burgh!
Last year I have seen him twotimes. In Mannheim and Mettlach/Saar. In Mettlach I painted a picture from the castle "Schloss Saareck" for him. The open air concert was greatfull and when he walked through the people we could see him very near. Then I gave him the aquarellpicture.
A happy weekend to all of the fans all over the world!

Hi Chris, Thanks for continuing to produce such profound music and lyrics. Yours songs have touched my heart, stirred my emotions from the mid 70s. They encouraged me to "say all the words that should be spoken, before they are gone forever" especially between a "father and a son". "Road to freedom" is yet another fantastic album. Keep them coming!

I was at your last concert and the one before that. I have adored your singing since your first album came out. Thank you for making me feel. I believe my favorite song, if I had to pick just one would be "Here is your paradise". Was that song written about anyone in particular?

Chris,
I recently bought the road to freedom extra cd with the 4 additional songs and I don't understand why you held these songs behind. The songs are so magnificent, words I cannot found to tell you how deeply touched I was. Especially Little Angel is one of the most beautiful songs ever.
Thank you

Hello Chris,
Re:- MOtL 3 April 2005
Great news that we'll soon be able to check out MOtL again each day with new answers to fan questions from you.
The best part is your special message of thanks for the book of greetings which was presented to you by fans who went to the extraordinary Fanmeeting in Dortmund last October.
That is very special and I know that, like me, many will be delighted to read this very personal message from you.
Thank you very much!
From the heart!

Hi Chris, thanks so much for answering my questions on MOTL.I'd love to buy your latest DVD and any others that you release, but down here in little old NZ we are region 4 and your DVDS are released region code 0 only.Do you have any say in what regions they are released in ? and will they be released in other regions? I know it's a small market for you down here as you aren't promoted (except by me to anyone who will listen)and I've managed to convert a few people too I might add , but I'd love to be able watch a dvd of you live in concert.
All the best Vern Hines

HI Cris
Like Jesus you are my favorite person on earth. I live in your magic world, full of grace and lovely memories. You saved my life and you do not know it yet...
When i was 13 my life changed dramatically when the lighting struck me and i lost my hands.
I was in a deep coma but i literally resucitated when i heard your tape. I woke up from my coma when Lady in Red came on. Since then i created a fan-club in my little Irish town Ballinasloe.
We drink tea and listen to your latest album.
This is what keeps me going. I have a beautiful little pet poodle and i called him Cris.
All my love. Cindy.
