Hello Chris,

Just wanted to write and say that I just received your new album from my mother. She sent it to me from home as I did not know if I could find it here in the US. I am really enjoying it and I especially love the first track. It is so beautiful and thought provoking. (as usual with your songs). Once again, you have proved that your music is timeless and magical.

Also, I hope you received the package.

Do take care, and I'd love to know when your next tour in Canada will be. I'll have to make a special trip!

Love, Desiree

Dear Chris
I'm from Brasil, as you saw, and I'd like to know if you plan to come here to make a show cause I'm sure I'd be the first one to buy the tickets!!
I really like your music LADY IN RED and I also think that it's the most beautiful music that has ever existed and I think there will be nothing as beautiful as it.
I'd be VERY happy if you come here! Please, think about it!!
Well...I'm only 16 and despite the fact that I'm young, I enjoy beuatiful songs as your's are.
I hope you read this, or anyone that has contact with you, and maybe there's nothing that I wish more but watching your show...please, think about comming here!!!!

Hugs

Hi Fellow Fans & maybe Chris!

I am waiting for the next concert in Canad. Chris de Burg's music is with me all the time (Sounds great in my head, (not so much when I vocalize it myself ha ha). I wrote Chris on the "Man on the Line", last year, and got a response, it felt great to have that personal contact/awareness from your favorite artist.

Take care all.

Dear Chris,

This all is going to sound a bit corny/cheesy but I don't care. And I know that you'll probably have no time to read this, but it will give at least a small chance of you seeing the happiness you've given me.

I first heard 'your voice' on Stars In Their Eyes. The man (I can't remember the name) sang 'Lady in Red' and that song has stuck with me, for how many years? For several years this was the only song of yours I had ever heard and I was pleased to know we had an album! I completely forgot about it though, but tonight my brother played 'Lady in Red' to me and made me sing with him. I started browsing through and came across the song 'A Spaceman Came Travelling'. This is a truly amazing song and one that warmed my heart at the first note. I can tell you one thing, this song has changed my life and at the right time too. Just when I was doubting everything, I heard the touching melody and it all felt ok. I'm 14, and I know that this is going to affect me for life. I look forward to hearing more of your music!

Thank you for unknowingly sparking up my life. It's things like this that truly make life worth it all.

Keep singing!
Liz

Hi all CDB fans from all walks of life all over the world. Since I was a teenager I have been listening to and loving the talent of the greatest musician of our time. I now play your music to my two children and guess what! ..They love your music too. Funny that! When will there be another Australian tour? I saw you in Sydney many years ago and remember it as if it were yesterday. Keep writing us your magnificent music that warms the heart of every soul that hears it time after time after time.

Dear Chris:
I am a huge fan, but saddened by the lack of tours you make throughout Canada. I dearly wish to see you live at least once in my life, and hopefully 2005 or 2006 will bring you back to the Great White North to share your wonderful and inspirational music with your Canadian fans. Hope to see you soon. May the Spanish Train drive on forever!

With gratitude,
Robin

Mr DeBurgh,

I grew up listening to your music thanks to my father. He's always been a great fan of yours and as a result, I became a fan as well.

Out of all the artists in the world, you have created some of the most genuine and most touching songs.

Like my father introduced me to your music, so will I do the same for my children.

Thank you for writting such emotion-inspiring songs.
God Bless.

Sincerely,
Petro Kartsakis

Hi Chris,
me and my boyfriend Kev went to see you in concert at the Liverpool Cathedral on October 23rd last year and felt it the best concert we'd been to. We came away feeling on a high after 3 hours of wonderful songs sung by a truely great singer !! It was a thrill for us to be able to sing and dance along with you near the stage towards the end of the show. The setting for the concert,in the magnificent Anglican Cathedral, was unusual and will stick in our minds for a long time to come ! We can't wait for your next UK tour and hope that you will return to Liverpool. Thanks for such a memorable night !!

Hey Chris. I recieved you're Road To Freedom DVD today in the mail and I am very impressed espeially with the dvd extras. Your interview and the fans interview were very detailed and personal. While watching, one gets a great feel for the German countryside in all its beauty. As far as the concert itself, anyone can see why your fans are so loyal, you really reach us in a way that no other artist has ever done as far as any of the many concerts I've been to. The way you involve us and walk though the isles and acknowledge us makes you very special indeed.
Thank You,
Thomas

p.s. Seeing my name on Read My Name way a nice touch. Thanks Sam for giving me the heads up on that.

I love your music, I remember going to one of your conserts in Halifax,N.S. and you pulled me up on stage and then a girl and i didn't know what was going to happen because I was at the age when i thought girls were the scariest creatures on the planet so I jumped off into my mothers arms. I still have pictures somewhere. If I could have that chance to be on stage with you again I wouldn't jump off this time. I can't remember how old I was but I was really young like 4 or 5 I think. Now I am 16 and I am listening to your music at this very moment, I believe the song is off your "Live from Dublin" album and it is "The last time I cryed." I wish you would come back to Halifax to play because I only live 50 minutes away and I would go to Halifax to see you.

Chris

I have been a fan for over 20 years. The first album I bought was Man on the line whilst still at college. Your music has inspired me through 2 marriages and my aunt and I see you perform at least once every time you are in the uk. We love your music. We usually try to go to the Albert Hall as it is such a great venue and we sit as close to the stage as we can! We would love to meet you one day before we both get too old!!!!

Keep up the great music writing and the superb concerts. Our favourites are the ones with you and your guitar and the piano. Nothing else is required. You just prove that long lasting fans really appreciate people who can sing! Not like these Boy bands!!!!!!

Chris,
I Love, Love, Love your music. I first heard one of your songs while visiting in Topeka, Kansas USA with my daughter. I had on a beautiful RED dress and my ex-son-in-law started playing on the table juke box the song: LADY IN RED came on and I was floored. I love it. I looked and looked to find the CD with that song on it and finally got the CD: The Very Best of Chris de Burgh. THE LADY IN RED
When I feel blue and lonesome I put that CD on and it brings me joy. Tonight I listened to the whole CD. I usually only listen to a song or two but I had to hear the whole thing. Its all good.
Are you planning a tour in the USA???
Keep up the great singing and song writing. You are great. Suzie

Hello chris, I know you are very busy and i wanted to let you know that, since the 80's I have listened to you. I think your great. I have see you in Belfast only once, and I would long to see again. I bought you new CD, and think its's great. I have admired you for year, and yes seeing you to night on the TV brought all my feelings back again. I would love to see you in concert again but you seem to be so far away. When will you be back in Ireland. I work as a dental nurse and I consistently tell every one how big a fan i really am. They laugh, as I'm only young. yes well 30, not bad. I read on your other emails that you have sent a signed photo of your-self. I would love one. Well I hope I haven't taken too much of your time. But take care, and I hope to see you really soon. Thank you.
