Hi Chris
I have been an admirer for many years, I love your music. A lot of people give me stick and only ever mention your song 'A Lady in Red'. I tell them you have done so much more and to go to one of your concerts. they would come out of it converted. I cannot wait for your concert in Manchester in October.Your music has been such an inspiration to me. I am a writer and when I have been stuck for the right words or sentences, I have listened to your music and the words start to flow. Your songs have such passion and meanings, and everyone has some event in their lives that they can relate to in your songs. I am shortly emigrating to the USA and hope I will still be able to see you in concert. Meanwhile, still keep producing the albums, as I wait eagerly for each one.

Dear Chris, I had the great pleasure of being one of the 22000 people at the RheinEnergieStadium at Cologne where you performed for Galeria Kaufhof's 125th anniversary party.

I felt ashamed that we had to leave while you were still singing because our superiors forced us to enter the buses in order to return to our hometowns. I would have loved to hear your whole set because I love your voice and your music.

I hope to have the opportunity to see an entire concert when you come to Hamburg.

Your solo concerts are great, but please: will you give some concerts in Holland with your band? We still missing "the boys of the band". Last year I have many things pass trough, and I listen all your cd's. Your songs give me power to go further. Especially: I'm not crying, Snows of New York, The head and the heart... On my wedding night, the DJ introduced the song we picked out to dance to as a beautiful song......indeed it was....after waiting for 10 years of dating and waiting for my 17 year old sweetheart to become a man, I was finally dancing with my prince charming to, "More than this." "It would take much more than this, to break a love so long in the making....it would take much more than this to shake so strong a foundation, more than this." I can't wait till Chris come back to Canada and maybe I'll be able to give him some beautiful flower to show appreciating for the beautiful music he has and continue's to make......P.S Congratulations to "that baby that changed your life" Rosanna....You make good looking kids!

Dear Chris,
I am a teacher and I have taught in six different countries. I have to tell you that even now, after having been a fan of your music for a long, long time, I still use 'Spanish Train' to introduce poetry to my kids, and regardless of their nationality or religion, they love that song!
Your songs have been a great source of comfort and inspiration to me for many years and I just wanted to thank you for all your music.

You have been my inspiration for more years that I dare to look back on, and I think that in itself sums things up in a nutshell.

Your kindness in helping those in life less fortunate than others is always unwavering.

Yet you once stood on the outside looking for a key.

Perhaps that is a lesson to all who think that once they step on the path it is everlasting.

I want to thank you for the hours, days, and months of inspiration that I have received from listening to your music. It has become the soundtrack to my daily life. I am the founder of The Bread of Life Orphanage in Brosteni, Romania. Many of the children that live at the orphanage come from horrible situations, living on the streets, abandonment, abuse, etc. I can honestly tell you that listening to your music has calmed their hearts and helped in their transition over the months. I guess that your music is sort of the sound track to their lives also. God Bless you. The kids here say "Hi".
