Hello Chris,
I am a fan of yours since 1986-87. I find your songs and your voice terrific. I particularly like the poetic structure of your lyrics. When my first child, Samuel, was born, I would sing to him "Just a word away". I don't want to brag or anything but I I can produce a very fine voice that ressembles yours. I've been practicing, you know.

P.S. - You have a very fine site here.

Hello Chris,
I'm not sure whether you really read the guestbook entries but I'll try to send you this mail hoping that it will reach you.
At first I would like to say thank for your wonderful music that accompanies nearly each day of my life. There are special songs for various moods and situations which help me through the ups and downs of life.
I love your music for about 17 years. Even my children (a daughter of 11 and a son of nearly 6 years) enjoy listening to CdeB. The absolutely highlights are your concerts, esp. the last two ones I've seen in Minden and Oberhausen last year were unforgettable.
It was absolutely great to sing and dance with lots of other people directly in front of the stage. So I'm very happy that there will be a German Summer Tour this! I'll visit the concerts in Siegen and Ludwigslust (both times I have got seats in the first row!). I'm already very curious to see which songs you will perform at these concerts. And here is my request: is there any possibility for you to play one of my most favourite songs that I've never heard in a concert yet?? I'm talking about "It's me ... and I'm ready to go" which I love so much! You would make me feel absolutely happy if you could play this one for me in Siegen or Ludwigslust!
All my best wishes for you!
Uschi

We not play much chess in Taiwan. We play sumo. MY son training to become sumo. He so big he can hardly fit in house! He big fat and strong, but not so strong as you I think!

Greetings Mr DeB!!!
You are a trully refreshing and inspirational songwriter which I look forward to hearing again and again. I actually used "Satin Green Shutters" as one of my wedding songs. I love the most, when you portray all kinds of stories to music. It was nice to hear Switzerland mentioned in one of your songs too as I am born there. I would have to say I like all records you've given us throughout the years but one which stands out for me specially is "Man on the line" Well done mate and as you've mentioned to the folks of Vollendam in the DVD, know also you've got a friend in me. Peace and blessings to you and family!!!

I am so pleased that you will be returning to St. John's to perform. We have attended every one of your performances here. After the show, your seat at the Rob Roy awaits you, sir! (the pub is under new management, but yes, it's still there, the pub and your seat. By the way, the new stadium you are playing in is directly across the street from the Rob Roy!!!!)
P.S. It's my wife Janice's birthday the night of the show, May 30. We will be in the front row I hope, if I can get those seats when tickets go on sale tomorrow morning. If possible, please say "happy birthday" to Janice Ronan ( a good old Irish name), who is a long time fan. It would be the biggest thrill of her lifetime, I'm sure.
Thanks a bunch. We are truly looking forward to the show.
Cheers,
Jim

WOW CHRIS! I was at your concert here in Durban & I'll be there again if you ever decide to revisit us!
It was amazing! I then sat at a table directly next to yours in a restaurant / pub / club after the show ... but chose to allow you (& your much needed security) your much needed privacy .... therefore didn't introduce myself nor ask for any autograph ... something I regret today!
Please read about DONOVAN (on a letter to you)... the baby thrown at birth from a moving vehicle .... yeah! So sad! But he was operated on (brain surgery) & @ 3mths now, is doing just fine .... with his adoption pending!

We are so disappointed. I was online immediately after tickets went on sale for the Quebec City concert on May 23, 2003 and was not able to get good seats.
We are two elderly ladies traveling all the way from New Orleans, USA for this concert.
Suppose I don't know the ins and outs of buying tickets online.
I'm a big fan of Mr. de Burgh's so if anyone can help me to get better tickets please e-mail me.

Chris De Burgh has been present in my life for almost 21 years. His music has inspired me and sometimes made life easier day by day. His soft, melodious voice has the ability to numb you to enjoy the soothing truth within his lyrics. I cannot say how many times I have seen him in concert, but each and every time is pure delight. Growing up in Northern Ireland, I first discovered C De B at the age of 14. Now at the grand old age of 31, I'd like to thank Chris for giving me some seriously uplifting, spiritual, fun (and for the teenage years) romantic songs to help me escape from the..."stuff" that went on, on an almost daily occurance in N.I.
Thanks Chris, and hope to see you in Toronto in May!!!
