Iran - 2003/02/26 - 11:17 Chris, The music is to my ears that you make. When you come play Iran? When you tour? My wife and I are married to your song of the Lady In Red and it means so much to us both. To tour in our lands is, of course, more than words can say. Keep on of the rocking, and let us all look forward to the new album of you very very soon! I love you my father. Blahmed & Barbrahmed

We love your music very much because your lyrics has deeper meaning and they are completely different from what now is called art and music( but it is not!). Los Angleles - California 2003/02/24 - 11:51 It makes me sad that the USA has not embraced CdeB. I fell in love with your music in the early 80's and have literly worn out my tape of "Man on the line"- I know concerts in the states are not likely- oh well, maybe one day I can get to western Canada to see one.

farmington - Utah 2003/02/24 - 00:01 Hey, I sing in many show chiors around where I live and I had the honor of singing Lady In Red for a show at an amusement park. I'm a very theatrical singer, that meaning mimicking the voice of the origonal singer comes natural to me, but man, Lady in Red has got to be one of the toughest I've ever done. I really admire Chris for that.

Cologne - Germany 2003/02/19 - 09:39 GIRLS' NIGHT OUT ON VALENTINE'S DAY Yes - we left our men at home! And no - didn't particularly miss them... ;) My friend and I went on an overnight trip to Holland to see the show in Den Haag last Friday. Extremely nice gesture, Chris, to put yourself out to do an extra concert as a compensation for those who couldn't make it in October because of the dreadful weather conditions! - Which also gave us yet another chance to see you again; how could we resist?? And it came as no surprise that we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. A vibrant heart+soul performance of 2 hours with (if I remember correctly) 23 songs. - Without any cover versions (who needs them anyway ;)?) ! In a laid-back kind of atmosphere (everything seemed to come right off the cuff), but still very professional, even in spite of all the technical difficulties you told us about. - Not that anyone really noticed though! At many of the solo concerts we've seen, you were at least accompanied and supported by Peter Oxendale playing the keyboards. But standing up there all on your own, it's all the more amazing that you can make 120 minutes seem like only half an hour!!! You have such personal magnetism and presence on stage!! All these heart-warming songs and your remarkable ability to inspire are just what we need in times like these!!! So we left the NCC Congress Centre wearing big blissful grins and looking forward to letting the champagne bottles pop :) ... Now it looks as if we won't meet for a long time, while you'll be fluttering around the universe: Russia, Canada, and wherever else you're off to... - fingers crossed everything will be fine and you'll return home safely. We also hope that the concert near Stuttgart in July will soon be confirmed and that some other plans for gigs around here will then be finalized, too. Rest assured: we'll be there :D - inevitably! Finally, many greetings to our Dutch neighbours! This was our first CdeB show in the Netherlands, but certainly not the last one! Also spent a great day at the seaside, in the beautiful town of Katwijk, feeling like being on holiday. See you again some day! Cheers to all. B

Duiven - NL 2003/02/16 - 09:05 Dear Chris, On behave of our 8 persons Concertgang, I'dd like to thank you for givin' the Bonusconcert in The Hague. Carla&Tom joined all your Dutch concerts since 1993, and the rest of the gang was injected with our enthousiasm. So what a pity we couldn't be with you at october 27th, because one of us became homeless that day. But after the tears we heard of your great offer. And it was marvelous, last friday. We compared this concert with your soloconcert in 1996 in Carré, Amsterdam (yes, that concert where the audience sent away your support-act Bloem) and this one was 10 times better. Thank you very much again. By doing this, you prove to be more than a regular artist. That's why we are fan of you, and we'll stay. See you at your next Dutch concert!! If you ever read this story, I'dd like to ask you to contact me, so I can write you some personal feelings by playing and hearing Lady in Red.

Drebber - Germany 2003/02/16 - 04:41 Howdy Chris, first time I saw you in Concert was 1981 in Washington D.C. You played your music before Joan Armatrading played heres. Ever since I keep in memory this Irish man with his huge guitar, who's lyrics touch my heart. Last time I heard you on stage was 2002 in Bremen and the magic is still the same. Thank you for your music and your words.

Wijk bij Duurstede - Holland 2003/02/15 - 08:51 Yesterday we have been to the bonusconcert in The Hague. After Volendam again Chris on stage, solo. Just with his guitar and a piano. And yet again it was amazing. His voice was great, the songs are standing on their one and for two hours we were in a different world, close to the seventh heaven but far away from Sint Peter's Gate. Chris, hope to hear you next time again.

2003/02/10 - 15:15 I want in forward thank you for being 'The Wild Irish Rose' at the bal masqué in The Hague coming Friday. I am looking forward to see you again. Of Corrs I will be there at one of your front rows. I hope you have found a way to rehearse some songs from 'Timing Is Everything' in a solo version. Is there room for Sailor in this show again, or do you really need the band for this acoustic song? I wonder if you take inspiration out of this site and if real fans can influence your setlist. It would be more than nice if there is time left for rehearse 'I am counting on you' on your piano. It's for years my favorite and I have never heard it live. Do you want to bring me this valentine gift? smell-the-flowers

Henfield - W.Sussex, England, U.K. 2003/02/05 - 13:15 Hi there! Sitting here, flicking through the guestbook entries, I am wondering what it must feel like for you reading all these "We love you's" and pleas for going here, there and everywhere. What an amazing achievement.(Looks to me like a lot of karma is being paid back here in one foul big swoop.... chuckle). So a heartfelt "thank you for living your dream" from me. Oh, and then I am sitting here shaking my head, wearing a huge smile at the same time at the thought of you giving solo concerts. I've only been waiting for this to happen for the past 20 years or so, and then they're on the wrong side of the pond!. (For me anyway). Never mind, perhaps another time. Love, Light and Joy always Sabine
