Hello Chris,
I want to thank you only once in my live for creating this your marvellous music. Some of your songs can escort somebody through his or her day like a guardian angel! It is good that anybody in this world has got chances to get access to your music (so me) and it is not exclusively for a small circle of people around you. God be with you! Greetings from Germany! Dorothea

I've just been to see Chris in Glasgow and I still think he's great. I first saw him when I was a student 30 years ago and I never fail to be amazed at his energy and enthusiasm on stage.

Keep up the good work.

I was brought up listening to your music. When I had my children, I didn’t know any lullabies when rocking my babes to sleep so I would sing them your old music and they love them. My eldest who’s 5 still want me to sing them the songs

Hi Chris,

I first saw you sing during the Eastern Wind tour, and I've been hooked on your fantastic music ever since. In a desperate attempt to get some children's music out of your head, I grabbed Spanish Train to entertain my son in the car. When he heard Patricia, he was hooked. He now performs Patricia concerts, complete with lyrics and his 50-cent garage sale guitar. He also knocks on the wall and bangs on the wall when the case is dismissed. He's only 2 1/2!

In 1975 i heard "Far beyond these castle walls" and was spellbound by the music, the lyrics & the voice. Over the years i have sung your songs (to myself) to reflect the emotions I feel at any particular moment and they often put into words what i am feeling. i have seen you 8 times, the best being at Castle Howard in Yorkshire. What an incredible night.
Reading this guest book makes me realise that there are a great number of sensitive, decent people out there which always gives us hope in this cold, cynical hard world.
I'd love to hear some more songs written in the style of your early albums. Dont ever give up.

Hi fans,
Canadian fans, please help with suggestions.
Never having to Canada I would like to know which of the 13 concerts scheduled
would be the best location for a concert.
I promised myself if Mr. de Burgh came to Canada I would see a concert. I live near New Orleans and plan to bring one of my daughters and two grandchildren. It will be a long trip and we would like to be in the best location.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

I saw you at the Molson Centre in Montreal in 1996.

I was pregnant at the time, and it was a wonderful concert, you made me cry, laugh, feel very good about life.

I especially liked the part where you sang alone and asked for special requests.

I followed your career since the beginning and now I understand much more the meaning of your messages of love, life & light.

Johanne Hebert

Thank you & keep up the good inspiration!

Dear chris,
I am an English teacher in one of the colleges in Iran. I have been involved with your devine music since my childhood and have never heard anything as precious and affectionate.
I do hope your melodiuos voice remains hale and hearty for good.

I've got some poems in English and am really interested in sending them to you. But i don't know how.

truly yours, one who teaches your teachings in his classes.

Chris,

When will you do concert dates in Canada. My wife has been a fan of yours forever. The only chance we had a chance to see you was in Offenburg, Germany in the late 80's. Here's hoping you will come to Canada soon.

To whom it may concern;
I am here in Boston USA, and I cannot get 3 Chris Deburghs Cd's over here and I am wondering can anyone help me, I will be gladly to get a cd over here in USA that you need, maybe we can exchange cds in the post. The cds i need of chris are as follows.

1. Far Beyond These Castle Walls 1975
2. Lonely Skies and Other Stories 1976
3. The Ultimative Collection (its a double cd and came out in 2000)

this one might be a shot in dark if this one is available on cd also and the record label is Telestar, and it came out in 1984. The Very Best Of Chris Deburgh.

Many thanks whoever could help me and a very Happy New Year 2003 to one and all. Best wishes, Michael Sullivan
