Concert in Berchtesgaden
I really enjoyed the concert. It was great to see Chris live
after a long time, to hear "old favorites" and three of the
songs from his new album. But there is one thing that makes
me very angry: When I am at a Chris de Burgh concert, I only
want to hear Chris de Burgh songs!!! And not the Beatles, Roy
Orbison or others!
For me it's not okay by Chris to finish the concert with "Hey
Jude"!!! On my way home I only want to have Chris in my mind
and not a Beatles tune!!!

Im looking forward to the concert in Munich, 17. October. And
I really hope Chris will not sing songs by the Beatles or Roy
Orbison!!!

Seit über 20 Jahren bin ich nun Chris de Burgh-Fan und finde ihn und seine Musik einfach phantastisch. Ich bin schon ganz ungeduldig und kann die Deutschland-Tour kaum abwarten. Freue mich riesig auf die Konzerte in Stuttgart, Frankfurt und Köln.

Recently i have suffered depression,I started listening to "Lady in Red",I listened to others and enjoyed.I now have the collection! I am the only 17 year old in my class who knows of Chris De Burgh.Borderline,Spirit of man,and Where peaceful waters flow have to be the best!
I would love a letter from Chris,and to attend his next concert.
Compared to your usual song which repeats words,I woul say that the words chris uses are so poetic.It's incredible!!!!

I have enjoyed EVERY concert I've had the opportunity of attending, in both Canada and the US. Chris deBurgh is # 1 in my books. Looking forward to the release of his new CD, "Timing is Everything" ... wonder what "Guilty Secret" is all about. Cheers!

Frankly I am not sure what to write. I have been a fan of CdeB since the early early 80's. Often I play his music in my car and people say "Nice music, who is that?” I say "Chris de Burg" they say "Who!!" I have a diverse taste in music and have appreciated that Chris’s style of music isn’t predictable or repetitive. And I also enjoy the uniqueness of the instruments played; I also enjoy the strength and thought put into the ballads. Now that I have found this sight I can update my collection.

Are there any places he performs that are not in a concert venue? If a concert were ever planned for East Cost USA it would be nice to know. Maybe one could be planned. But I understand it might not be economical.

Chris, come on over to the USA!

because there are many songs are nice for example (hold on-the key-windy night-turning round-good night and shsatin green shutters)

here's a short review of the concert in Berchtesgaden (or is it Burghdesgaden ??)...I'm too tired to write a long one, but there has to be said that ...

... IT WAS THE BEST SHOW I'VE SEEN THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

....Chris at his best, so powerful, sensitiv, emotional, and a voice to dream of...really, it's been so much fun! The tent was horror, much too hot, barbeques inside which were really stinky, a floor to fall over and so on, but Chris played for about 2 hours and 10 minutes, playing many songs he does often when he's alone, but then again other songs like "St. Peter's gate" which are rarely played. Whatever tune he started, slow and emotional or rocky, the audience followed and celebrated...

And he surprised us with 3 (!!!) new songs, "Room in this heart", "Save me" and "Guilty secret" of course, which made the whole audience dance and dance and dance...for all those who don't have a clue about "Guilty secret" yet: be sure it's gonna be a huge hit! I love it now already, but to think how it's gonna sound like with the band it will be fantastic. This concert finally convinced me to travel to Belfast...another long, long eight weeks to go :-(

Friends, we're gonna look forward to a great concert session!!!!
In my opinion the album (which was played in Phantasialand) goes back to the great old Getaway / Man on the line style, mixed with some Beatle tunes...

I´m very keen to get information about your new album and I´m looking forward to listen to your new tracks on German radio. When will be the launch of the new album? We're are coming from Philadelphia to Birmingham for the weekend to see Chris in November. We get in Fri. morning and leave Mon. morning out of Manchester. Any suggestions as to where to stay would be appreciated...should we stay in Birmingham or near the NEC... would like to be able to chill in a nice pub and drink some real beer...also would like to stroll around abit.

I started collecting your cassettes back in the 80's. I was in high school and would hear one of your songs on the radio while riding home from school. Then I was living in Northwestern Ontario and the bus ride was an hour each way.

Then I got the opportunity to see you in Toronto when I went away to University. I was thrilled! After the concert, I had to run like mad to catch the last train back to Kitchener, where I was living at the time. I still chuckle remembering that headlong rush and yelling to the conductor to hold the train, then collapsing in my seat, and reliving the concert all the way home. It is a great memory.

I really hope you can come back to Canada for a visit. I would love to see you sing again. And hopefully this time I'll be able to get seats much closer. I had a seat in the balcony at the far end of the arena when I saw you in Toronto.

Thanks for creating such wonderful songs.
