Even North American concerts may as
well be on the far side of the moon -
we're 150 bush plane air miles back
of the boondocks. But I own every CD
I have been able to get my hands on,
and have high hopes of acquiring a
video concert or two - or three.

My oldest son (student) went to the
last Halifax concert; after paying bus
fare, ticket, and overnight stay, he ate
pancakes and canned soup for two weeks.
He says it was worth it.

The site is wonderful, as I can keep track
of whatever CdB I don't own. Thanks!

dear Chris, since I know you look in to this site,
I want to thank you for your amazing concerts; 3 houres of passion and rock together! wow!
I never am able to stand so long in a different situation, but at your concerts, one never can stand still, one must dance, and even the slow songs we are like hypnotised by your ever stronger growing voice.(you notice I'm not objective anymore!!)
I also must apologise for Maarten in his wheelchair (red fleeceshirt-Volendam).Maybe you noticed he cannot applause anymore after three songs, his arms hurts too much; but you have to know and see in his eyes he is immensely enjoying himself at your music!!!

Thank you very much for doing your 63 shows this year, see you in Rotterdam 27 okt.

Hello, Chris.
I don't know if you remember me. When you came to Tokyo for the concert(I guess it was more than ten years ago?), I was on the first line and in red for the song of "the Lady in Red". At that time I was only 19 years old...Now I am over 30 years old, but your transparent strong voice always makes me feel very peaceful.

Last year I moved to Germany, and I will go to see you in Frankfurt this October. Looking forward to experiencing the emotional moments like I had ten years ago in Tokyo.

Several months ago while surfing the TV channels I stopped on Trio to find Chris de Burgh in a 1989 concert in Birmingham. I loved it!
Mr. de Burgh is, in my opinion, the best. His lyrics have meaning and when he sings we are able to understand the words.
At age 70 I am envious of all the fans who have been enjoying his music for years.
Would like to see a solo performance someday.

I have been enjoying Mr. de Burgh's music since the late seventies. I had the pleasure of hearing him sing in concert three times in Canada. I wish he would include Canada in his tours again. I would love to see him. His music has touched my soul many times.
We are truly blessed to have such a talented and insightful singer/song writer, in our midst.

I have Chris DeBurgh on VINYL!! Spanish Train, The Crusader, The Getaway. I also have tapes and CDs, and yet I have NEVER seen him in concert. I am willing to travel to Toronto or Europe in the future. This website will help me plan.

Chris,
If you ever read these messages, then let it be known that you have a huge fan following in Australia. I first started listening to your music when my mum 'obtained' a radio-only copy of Spanish Train way back when.

Since then, her, my brother and I have been hooked. Your songs have helped me express my emotions at various times during my life, at times better then I can myself. I put my friends onto you and they loved the music so much, they had "in a Country Churchyard" as their wedding song. It has been many years since you've been down this way and we are waiting for your return eagerly.
