Chris, Just wanted to say thankyou for your music and your heart touching lyrics. I have been a fan of yours since 1982 and really enjoy your music. Chris u'v a 'magic'voice mate, lv'e loved ur music for years but my favourite is ur version of Roy Orbisons 'In Dreams' with the orchestra backing u ....so 'punchy'the combination of your voice,interpretation,& orchestration .....send it right over the top. "Carry me" was the first song that I heard when I was a kid. Since then your songs make me very emotional. I live far from your country. My country, Bangladesh, is full of problems. Every day we have to encounter different and critical situations. Sometimes I see darkness all around me. But when I hear your songs I find myself in the sunshine. All the darkness are gone with your songs. I think "Borderline","Shine on","One more mile to go","Where we will be going" are the best songs that I've ever heard in my life. I agree with the many comments listed on this page the only thing that disappoints me is the fact that we (Australia) are so far away and we miss out on so much CdeB. I was in the England and Ireland Oct/Nov 1999 and was able to purchase "Quiet Revolution" without doubt your (Chris) finest work. It is still not available in Australia. Prior to this my Favourite Album was "Getaway" (difficult I know to choose between degrees of greatness). What one CdeB album/disc would you take with you to a desert island?
