My wife (Sam) and I came to your open air picnic style concert at Blickling Hall on the 28/7/01. It is the 4th of your concerts that we have been to in recent years and never fail to be amazed at how much better your music is live. We were especially pleased to hear you perform your duet with Shelley Nelson, also my personal favourite "Same Sun". My wife would have liked to have heard you perform "fatal hesitation", may be next time.
Thanks for a great 3 hours and 20 minutes of entertainment, impossible to be beaten. The best yet.
We hope to see more of your picnic style concerts in the future.
We have followed your music for approx. 20 years and hope to be able to listen to your new compositions in the future.

Saw you at Blickling. Never been to a gig like it. loved every moment, cried twice. The song about some one being away (mum died nealy a year ago) stated me off then Lady in Red finished me off (our song).
Ticket was a present from my husband for my birthday the previous saturday (21st). we came with 6 freind and they all want to know what we are going to see next year.

I have been a fan for over 20 years and try to see you at leat once a year in concert. I will be there on 27th July at Knebworth and the weather looks as though it will be fantastic. Just wanted to send regards from New York, USA! I've had a hard time getting your albums in stores around here, even have a friend order them for me via import, but somehow I've managed to collect & enjoy most of them! Looking forward to completing my collection soon! Hope to see you in concert someday, but I enjoy "Live From Dublin" in the meantime! (The closest place to me would probably be 6 to 7 hours drive to Montreal or Toronto Canada!) Thanks for the stories and music!!!!

Hi Chris,I'm new to this as you might guess?However I just want to express what a wonderful evening I had at Belvoir Castle last Friday night,the first time that I have seen you in concert,but hopefully not the last! I have only just come back down to earth!My program got slightly wet somehow when walking back to the car but I did manage to salvage one photograph to frame.It would have been nice to have had it autographed.My husband also thorougly enjoyed your music but is getting a bit bored now as you are singing for about 8 hours a day!Enjoy the rest of the summer! Last night 21/7/01 I went to see you in cocert for the very first time, at Ragley Hall, Alcester, but not the last. It was the first live concert I have ever been to, and it took my breath away. You were on satge for about 3 hours non stop and it was the best 3 hours of my life. I took some excellent pictures of you with my digital camera, these I will cherish for the rest of my life. What a talented artsit! I'm 21 years old and have alsways loved your music but am getting into more in recent months. I had your hits CD for years now and recently got your latest studio relese 'QR' and your 1995 album "Beautiful Dreams". The '95 reworking of "The Lady in red" is better than the hit recording, the album as a whole is magical, with a full orchestra backing! Can't beat it!

Chris, I have been listening to your music since i think 1984, around the "Getaway" & "Man on the line" era.
I have steadily been gathering your albums (even the M & S one) and can proudly say that i have the entire uk collection of studio albums and live albums. My first memory of Chris de burgh was listening to Borderline and The tower, you have been blessed with a gift which you have tried to bring to the masses, I personally think "a new star in heaven said more than a reworking of an old song ever could, i even recorded it from video on that sad day, (even though it is a bit battered now). You try to bring a new style to your work with each new song, I hope to see you and if I may be so bold, Bryan Adams is playing a concert in Londonderry soon, and we have two new theatres here so maybe you could come up and give us some tunes???. I know that your many fans and friends would ensure that you had a great nights 'craic'. my love to you, keep using your gift, and maybe we'll see you in Londonderry for some "Moonlight & Vodka". Thanks Chris for a great show and a thirty-minute standing ovation. (Liverpool, 18th July) But keep politics out of it, please. You mentioned Milosevic and Stalin; okay, we will let St. Peter judge them or otherwise in Stalin's case as he was not a Gentile.
Leaving allied (victors) propaganda aside Adolf Hitler who you mentioned, thankfully muted, was the most popular leader in European history and was defeated only by force of arms of many nations, few of them European, fighting under one non-european banner!

Chris i'm 24 yrs old, I remeber when lady in red was a big hit here in the USA. I started to really like the song when I heard it on a commercial. I kept singing it to my wife I almost drove her nuts. Any way I'm in the US Army and was sent to Korea while there I found one of your CD's there to be honest I found alot of them (i've only found one here in the USA wierd huh?) I heard "borderline" and I could relate to the song especially "it's breaking my heart I know what I must do I here my country calling but I wanna be with you" chris it is very hard to be a soldier sometimes, especially when you are in a foreign land for a year away from the woman you love. However each time I'm away from here I write those few words in a letter to her. Lastly, the person who inspires you must be really awesome, my wife inspires me I just wish I could write like you do...

I saw you last year in Toronto, and a couple of years back in Calgary and every other concert you've done in Calgary. I met you at Joey Tomatoes the last time you were in Calgary and we connected regarding hands on healing. Meant a lot. Your music sings to my soul and once again, I thank you.

I seen Chris in Glasgow Scc Centre back in December 2000 the show was excellent Chris was great with the audience. Chris sung a few beatles songs and also John Lennon's Imagine.

I'm not sure if you read these comments, but if not then perhaps someone else may be able to help me. I have been an admirer of your music since the days of Spanis Train. You are one of the few musicians that I would love to see perform live, in concert. Unfortunately that pleasure has eluded me to date. Looking at the tour dates, I see no plans for a US tour in the near future. Any hopes of that changing ? A simple 'yes' would suffice... C'mon Chris... just one itty bitty little concert in, say, Tampa ? And, courtesy of testicular fortitude, if you do, what do you say we duet on 'Patricia the Stripper' ? (Just joking - kinda).
Anyway, tour or not, I love your music. You have a definite way with words. Give 'em hell !

Just to say I LOVE the new improved website. Have been a fan of Chris since 1982. First say chris on my 16th birthday and have not stopped listening since. It is great to see how many fans chris has out there but I am still his NO.1 Fan.

Your voice has been with me through many stages of my life from the first time I heard Spanish Train back home in Scotland in 1980. My biggest regret is that I have never been able to see you live!!!! Oh yes I did have tickets to see you in Edinburgh in September of 1986 but alas I had to be here in the States to start school the week before. Which truly broke my heart!!!!!
Oh well maybe one of these days.
Keep singing the songs!!!!
