I adore Chris's music and lyrics. The way he can put pure poetry to music to touch your very soul is amazing. My friends have always said that I shouldn't like his music,as it is for the older generation ( I am now 29 ). I always fight back with the facts - that his is music itself, not repetative meaningless jagon! Ok, I like most types of music, but the type which is always guaranteed to comfort, morose and cheer me up is alway's Chris DeBurghs. I will never tire of his music and will stay loyal to him to a very old age! How many one hit wonder bands can boast loyalty like that?

The last time I saw Chris was in Manchester, December 2000. I am going to see him at Belvior Castle in Grantham next month and cannot wait! Anyone going to this concert? See you there fellow music lovers with excellent taste!

Can anybody tell me any information about Bargy castle, Wexford Ireland where Chris de burgh stays. I read in his biography that his family, run a hotel there. I am trying to find out more information about Bargy Castle and the hotel. I tried looking up his books I have also searched all over the internet and I cannot find out any information. I haven't got a particular favourite song because all his songs are my favourite. I also seen him in concert I think he's great with the audience. You gave yesterdag a concert in Volendam for the fire on the first of januari.
It was a very good concert and a great thing to do many people had tears somtimes I could hear them cry.

I wished with 5 others to see Chris at Knebworth House in July 2001, only to be informed that every member of the party had to be 18 years plus!!!!! I had wanted to take my music crazy 7 year old (westlife, Ronan keating, S club seven, steps you name it he's seen them, mainly at Wembley) does Chris want to alliniate himself from younger music lovers, I still love the music that I heard as a youngster, like Dean Martin, Beatles, and the great late John Denver amongst others, too many to mention and I now love Ronan Keating and Westlife, even at my old age ( I am 47 years old) I would hope that my son would like Chris's music in later life, not if he cannot enjoy it at a Picnic (that a joke- we cannot even take our own!!!), hence we are not going, Michael Ball's concert at Audley End (where Chris played) welcome young people, so that is where we are going.

I moved to California from England 5 years ago and in that time I searched for your CDs but could not find them until recently when I discovered I could find them online (YIPEE!) anyway the first concert I ever attended was you in 1986 at the Empire Theatre in Liverpool England (I was 14 years old) and the memory of that night has never faded it is still one of the best live shows I have ever seen and I just want to thank you for that. I believe in changes. I guess your kinda music, specially the anti-war part of it, is a change in pop music.

My name is Richard I'm aged twenty I have been a fan since I was ten. The first song I heard was The lady in Red and ever since then I have loved all your music. I slowly did collect all your albums on tape then on CD. When I get some free time I always listen to your music. I even listen to you when i'm traveling back and for to work.

I seen you in concert twice back in 1996 in stirling castle it was the first time I saw you in concert I was aged fivteen then It made me cry to see you. Then I seen you again just back on december last year in Glasgow scc centre you were great I hope you play again soon in scotland.
