Rotterdam - South Holland 2001/11/29 - 14:19 I would like to thank you for making music that will always give memeries to us. We have lost a lot of people in the past three years and about a month ago we lost the father of my girlfriend. He had cancer and that period went by so fast. He was a fan of your music and the song i´m not scared anymore gave him and us so much courage to deal with this all. We were in Rotterdam Ahoy on 28th november and your performance brought us in tears. We knew that Wout Stolk was with us that night and we now know were not scared anymore. Thank you and see you in october 2002 in Ahoy

53881 Euskirchen - Germany/NRW 2001/11/27 - 10:51 Hi Chris, I´m a very big fan of you for years. First I saw you jumping on stage. That was so cute! After that I discovered your wonderful musik. I´m 30 now and had my first album (Into The Light) when I was 14. Now I have them all, of course. I will never forget my visit in Ireland. My grandfather lived there and me and my friend Lydia visited him. We were always driving around (so beautiful) and stopped at "Armstrong´s Barn". Your brother in law gave us the strongest coffie I ever had!!!!! And the best Russian pan-cake with caviar - a great time. Then Pierce Brosnan was shooting his film "Taffin" nextdoor. Oh, it was so exciting. Can´t wait to see you again in concert!!!!!And your web-site is great!!! Best wishes, Melanie

But it is so good to know they were all quite surprised at Chris' performance and really liked it. Wish it would have lasted a bit longer. Diana

2001/11/23 - 08:26 The Nokia Night of the Proms was absolutely fantastic. The great orchestra Il Novecento, Robert Groslot, Adiemus live, the show of Meat Loaf, Martin Frey, Laith Al-Deen, John Miles. But most impressiv was: The Snows of New York, Lady in Red, Don't pay the Ferryman and High on Emotion. We even sang Haleluja, but I liked much more the very talented choir "Fine Fleur". Enjoy your tour, we'll see you again soon and hopefully twice next autumn. God bless you all, with love, Fabiola

Inverness - Scotland - Inverness - Shire 2001/11/13 - 16:03 Hello to all the great fans of Chris de Burgh. I'm a big fan of Chris since I was ten years old my first song I heard was the "Lady in red" I'm now twenty one and still a big devoted fan. I seen Chris in Concert twice in Stirling Castle back in 1996 and in Glasgow SCC Centre back on decenber 2000. I will be going to see Chris in Concert again next november 2002 when he does his british tour. I will be going to the Glasgow Cycle Auditorium and I can tell you I just can't wait. Look up the tour calender for details. Well I do like all music from the early seventies up untill todays music but my favorite artist just has to be Chris De Burgh I have got every album from his first "Far beyond these castle walls" to his last "Notes from planet earth". I did here that Chris could be taking out a new album out next year I just hope he does. Thanks alot From Richard

Riverview - NB, Canada!! 2001/11/13 - 13:50 Have seen two of your concerts and been a fan for many years. Your songs have been present at my Junior High Prom, my college all-nighters, my wedding, during the birth of my children and now my children (ages 11 and 6) also know all the lyrics to your inspiring songs. The messages are as clear and meaningful today as the day they were composed. I only need put on one of your CDs to remember there is good in the world and so many songs comfort me in times of need. The most beautiful and heartfelt of all your songs was the one written for your daughter. No one will ever be able to doubt your love for that child and I frequently sang it to my daughter growing up. It holds a special place in our hearts... Would love to see you "front row centre" in Canada soon, EH? Heather =O)

2001/11/11 - 10:46 I'd just like to say that in Luxemburg we spent a great day, full of laughing and making new friends... We've seen a great concert, with sensitive songs and new impressions... Let's hope for the fan gathering, that many people will come together in march, to continue this feeling of being brought together by Chris' music. If it will be as half as nice as the time we've spend yesterday evening, it will be something to remember for a long time. Take care Claudia

Phoenix - AZ 2001/11/08 - 17:49 Did you attend any Supertramp/Chris de Burgh concerts in the US in 1975 or 1976? If so, I'd like to hear from you and get any information you may have. I've been writing a TIMELINE for Supertramp for over 12 years, and these two tours are my biggest "gaps". I'm sure everyone on this list is fully aware of the close relationship shared by Chris and the members of Supertramp. I would just like to preserve a part of it that's missing. Thanks in advance to all that can contribute!!!

England - 2001/11/05 - 09:39 I started listening to your music in the mid eighties but somehow got separated from your great talent. My love for your music was re-kindled recently by someone who is very special to me and suggested that i listen to your Quiet Revolution CD, i realised then what i had been missing for quite some time.Your words give inspiration and can mean so much. There are many special songs on the cd,in particular The Last Moments of the Dawn this has become a special song for us. I would also like to say to any men reading, if you're having difficulties with your loved one listen to A Woman's Heart and act on it. Thank you for everything.

Salalah - Oman 2001/11/05 - 04:02 Well, what can say about the king of love songs? Can I say he made us fall in love with an imaginary person because of his sweet romantic songs before getting it as a real thing? Can I say he made us the most romantic people who can express the true meanings of love, after quoting his wonderful words? Whatever I say, I won't be able to describe how great Chris is. His songs automatically entered my heart and soul immediately when I first listened to him in 1990. I couldn't believe it that there would be a singer who mastered the language of love. I like all his songs except one, which is crusaders. I'm a Muslim, and was sad o listen to that song. I just consider it as a mistake, because I'm sure if Chris knows that there was a single Muslim loved his songs he would never sing it, or at least change some painful phrases to his Muslim fans. Anyway, I still like him and always listen to his songs. Only Chris de Burgh, Air Supply, Chicago and then Modern Talking can make us deeply live in the realm of love. I'm so intersted to correspond with some Chris's English female fans. I'm Arab Muslim, 26,male, live in Oman in the Arab Gulf. Please if any English girls interested in me, just drop me an message.
