I have been a fan since Spanish Train first came out in South Africa, where I was born. The first time I got to see Chris live was only in 1994. Since then I am living in Holland and would so love to see him live again. But what chance is there of a visit to Holland? I had to go to London to get the last CD as most people here didn't know CdeB!! Have they no culture?
Anyway, I am delighted to have the facility now to find this site and hopefully get more information.
As another fan said earlier, I too have been carried through difficult times by his words and music, like "the snows of New York" and "carry me like a fire in your heart".

I wonder if u read those comments...Well this is the first time I enter this site and I'm pretty 200% sure I'll come back to it very very often...I came to Montreal in January 2000 and I just knew from this site that u had a concert in Molson Center in April!!! I haven't heard about it here and I'm SSOOOO disappointed that I couldn't attend it! This happened to me before in the early 90's you had a concert in Lebanon and my parents decided I was too young to go and see you...I was like 12 years old...
I'm a very big fan of yours and the most amazing thing is that I cannot decide yet which of ur songs is the best!!! the best song"S" are so many!!!
that's great I hope you'll be coming back soon again to Montreal; I would make sure I won't miss ur concert again! I like listening to ur songs coz they r so meaningfull..."Crusader" is one of my favorites...that song is WAW!

My friends and myself (aged19) spent our nights in Kavos singing to your fabulous "lady in Red" song, before going out every night.

Then listening to you whilst we crossed the sydney harbour on a regular basis when we recently lived there.

Let me tell you that the only songs, foreign ones I always listen and repeat by myself are yours. I feel a kind of honesty and pains of humanbeing in your sound & songs. I am Iranian and play Tar which is an Iranian instrument. When I play our traditional musics I find a kind of LOVE a transcendental one and at the same time I find it in your songs with superficial differences. We in Iran miss you and unfortunately we can not see you having concert but I have some of your cassets and always listen them for which I can say THANKS. God willing I can see you some time.

Do you ever read all these messages or do you have someone to read them for you? I can't believe the amount - I have just gone through hundreds of them. And I thought that I was the only fanatical fan. Having taken our children to a concert of yours in Cornwall when they were about 4 and 5 and having weened them on your music I thought that we were the only nutters - but it appears that there are just as many other nutty fans out there!
Love everything you do and have every single piece of music that you have ever produced. Keep it up.
See you in December but when are you going to do some more outdoor shows? The show at Blickling Hall in Norfolk was amazing and at the park near Leeds in 1998 - we need more of those, they have such a wonderful atmosphere.

Once again my husband and I have booked tickets for your show - this time for Saturday 9th December at NEC Arena. At the last 2 open air concerts in 1998 you kept asking the crowd what they wanted you to sing. I kept shouting 'Up here in Heaven' but you didn't play it.

This is my favourite record of yours. I think that the sentiment is wonderful and I cannot listen to this song without getting a lump in my throat.

Please, please, please could you play it at the NEC Arena on 9th December? I would be sooooooo ... grateful!

Love the new CD - its like a combination of every other track we have got of yours since we became fans in 1978. Keep up the good work. Your music really cheers me when I am down. Thanks for that.

My husband and I celebrate our silver wedding in November. We don't want a party so instead we are going to see Chris at Bournemouth on 15th Dec. I can hardly wait, meanwhile I have to enjoy my CD's at home and cassettes in the car until I get this years fix of the real thing. Chris's live performances are fantastic, (Blenheim, Somerley, Powderham, Kensington Gardens and Bristol) andI'm sure this years concerts will be just as good

was my second concert on his "Quiet revolution" tour and
the third concert at all. I must say it

Last week (Thursday 25.05.) my parents and I were for the first time at a concert
of you, and I have to say that I was really surprised, no better it was a great and
fantastic show. I know that you were very often in Switzerland but most of the time in
Zurich and this city is a little far away from where I live that's why I never was at a
concert of you before. So, I was very surprised to found out that you were playing in Berne
but at the other hand I was happy that I would finally have the possibility to see
and hear you live on stage. Again, it was a great show and I'm longing to see you again

The Love Songs, avant ça je connaissait que 2 chansons de toi, The Lady In Red et
Spanish Train, et depuis je suis rendu à
7 ou 8 albums, ma chanson préféré c'est
Space Man Came Travelling.
J'étais au Centre Molson de Montréal le
7 avril 2000, au concert que tu as donné,
moi qui suis une personne timide, à certains de tes chanson j'avais mis de coté ma timidité et je m'étais mis à danser, j'étais le seul à danser dans
ma section, pourtant timide, c'est de valeur qu'il n'y a pas tout les jours un Chris De Burgh.
