that the duett of Chris de Burgh with Vicky Leandros
is available on her new album called "Jetzt!" (WEA 8573 81757-2).

It has been released on february 28, 2000 in Germany, Austria
and Switzerland.

I would like to make a compliment to Chris de Burgh for
the duett "Seperate Tables", as it is a very beautiful ballad.

On the album there are two versions: one in English and one
in English/German, where Vicky sings the German part.
On both versions Chris starts the song in German!!!

The album "Jetzt!" contains 15 songs (most of them in German).
I think it's a must for every fans of Vicky and Chris de Burgh.

I hope the fans of Chris will enjoy this duett (and the whole

Chris,

Your song, "lady in red", is probably the most moving song I have ever heard. I can be driving home from work at night and that song comes on the radio and tears will fall down my cheeks. The love you give to that song, and the fact that, I think I love my wife as much as you do yours, just brings me to tears, every time.

With this in mind, I was wondering if you could pen a few words for me to sing to my daughter. She is two years old, and she is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Recently she broke her arm, and it struck me that my little angel has a broken wing. I have tossed and turned over a song to sing to her, but alas I am no artist. Please send me something to sing to her at night, when I put her to bed.

I first started to listen to Chris in 1983/4. The summer of 84 was fairly traumatic for me with a couple of deaths in the family and major exams at school. I had an old record player beside my bed and only 3 C de B albums.
Needless to say they were never off the turntable. I have been able to replace 2 off them in CD form but have never picked up "Far Beyond These Castle Walls". Was it ever released in CD form I wonder. Anyway, thanks Chris for helping me get through that year.

I'm exteremely dissapointed to see that the 2000 Canadian tour is being restricted to cities in eastern Canada.
I'm sure that I'm not the only prairie girl that was looking forward to seeing Chris in our city again. I was

I saw Chris in '96 and thought that it was the best thing in the world. As he was leaving the stage, he was shaking hands. My sister and I shook his hand and are still talking about it.
My family has been listening to Chris since I can remember, especially at christmas time.
A month after his concert in Calgary in '96, my 17 year old brother was killed in a motor vehicle accident, Snows of New York and Carry Me were played at his funeral.
Keep up the good work and know that there are many of us out here whose lives you haven't only touched, but held in the palm of your hands.

Dear Chris,

I saw you 11 years ago in New Brunswick as a birthday gift from my husband. We were both so glad to hear that you are playing in Halifax on the 5th of April. I have my tickets and can't wait. I have been a huge fan for many years and now my kids are listening to my old tapes - they love Spanish Train.
My husband and I love to listen to your music as we relax and lay in each other's arms - the lyrics are so romantic and he is guaranteed to get lucky!!
My sister-in-law is also a huge fan. She suffers with MS and loves the song "Carry Me (like a fire in your heart)" She says that she would love to hear you sing that song. She has also let it be known that she would love to have you sing at her funeral. I know that sounds morbid, but she is living on borrowed time right now as she was diagnosed at age 15 and is now 47.

I must say that liked your old songs much more than the ones of today...

I think you sort of have changed your style e.g. your ballads from Eastern Wind, Best Moves and The Gateaway cannot be compared in any respect with the songs, not ballads, you have been producing since the 90s. And I'm sure that there are many people out there who feel the same. Anyway, I'd like to thank you especially for the songs that were very good friends to me during my young adulthood...and I've eventually found a place 'where peaceful waters flow...'
