It all started when a guy told me that I was 'lady in Red' so I listened to other Chris songs and loved them all. Lots of people have now said the same to me and I still can see why (she says wearing a red top) - it has got so bad now that I walked in

to the local record shop and he went and put 'lady in Red' on.
Chris please keep writing your wonderful song, I love them all but could you do one about another colour possibly !!

I am really glad I found this page. Here in Uruguay it is almost impossible to find something about Chris. I´ve got to know his music in 1985 in Germany where I used to live. As I came back here I had no more contact with his hits but I would love to

receive more information about his tours.
There is no way to explain what it meant to me to find this page even if I couldn´t hear his songs (which I would love to).

When I first "courting" a lady I married (but unfortunately also divorced)
I had the cassette (Lady In Red was the main song of the day)in my car, and a De Burgh CD still spins in my computer as I type this. Not one song is left unheard or not repeated to this day, 10 years later. Chris De Burgh has a talent that will not be surpassed in my eyes, and I look forward to a time when I can see him in person, and even shake his hand,
and extend a sincere thank you for the encouragement his music has brought me through - both in the good times and the bad.

I wish I had such a talent as yours.
In 1996 my finace died of bone cancer and only being 28 at the time somtimes words failed me where a love song describes how you feel and the lyrics in many of your songs relate in the same way the good and bad times we share and how we let time pass us by.
Since 16 years old i have listened to your music and I do believe it has helped me to become a kind gentle person and become compasionate.
