I just have to say thanks to you.. I first heard some your songs in 1990. But it has been quite unfortunate that not a lot of people know you down here (to be honest)..
So almost every time I go to a music store and ask for your albums, they'd say they have not heard about you..
BUT, when I mentioned "The Lady in Red" most would know..
AND if I sang it in front of them then they all knew the song. So Chris, why don't come and visit the country..or have you? Where have I? Or "I must have been blind.."

it's only me, who would like to say thank you for your songs. My girl left me nearly two weeks ago. It was my greatest love till now. I thought I could be her husband.

I'm really excited now, not long until the concerts. I have just started listening to all my old favourite songs. The first one I ever heard was Lonely Sky and on the same album one of my all time favourites is The Tower. What was life before Chris???

I have been listening to Chris de Burgh since 1988. I still remeber the first time I heard Chris's music. The first song was "Carry me" and I still like that song very much. My favorite song is "Up here in heaven", but I love all of his more than hund r ed songs. Especially the story, religious and war songs. Judith and Annie I,m very jealous of you that you are going to see Chris in Bonn, but I'm happy for you!!!!!

I have to admit that I first heard Chris' music at a crucial point in my life. I was 21 and not too sure what to do with the rest of my life. The song was "A Spaceman came travelling"
Since then I have made an effort to get all of his records and now that they are out in CD format I have almost all in that format.
All I can add it to keep up the good stories and ballads, they are your best music. I have a CD player in my car and since I travel alot, I sing along with the music and it makes the time fly.
I haven't met anyone who doesn't like at least one of your songs.
I have so many favourites, you can't list them. May your future be long and happy, and there be many more songs in the future.

This post is one by way of thanks for something that meant a lot to me. Last August, Cairn McDonnagh, whom I was told you had met and befriended, died in Virginia. She was the one true love of my life, and losing her left me a shambles of a man these pas t
nine months. My family purchased me a copy of your album, "Flying Colours", and two songs on the album reminded me very much of Cairn...one which allowed me to cry, the other to hope. From a man who loved a woman he lost dearly, thank you for "Carry Me L ike A Fire In Your Heart" and "I'm Not Scared Anymore". The memories I have of her, and the feeling that,a s the song says, "I believe they can see us, know they are with us, hear every word that we say", I know that I don't have to be scared anymore.

Thank you...and I hope you remember her as dearly as I do.
