Hello Chris, hello everybody, it's only me, Markus, who is sending a message again today. I was, in Bonn on sunday, and you already read, my notice. Yesterday ( one day after Bonn ) i had a car accident. I drove ( with a speed of 100 km per hour ) in t o a crash-barrier, listening to the song and that's really no joke "A new star up in heaven tonight" no joke.- I just thought "God It's ok, I am ready to go" and I was really not scared anymore.
My last thought devoted to Diana, Princess of Wales. After turning a few times, witnesses told me, my car stopped on the middle of the highway, I opened my eyes and, and I was not deeply injured. My car is kompletely damaged, and I am sad ( perhaps ) not

to come to "Waldbühne" next sunday.
If there is someone out the there, who drives to "Waldbühne" next sunday, take me with you. My adress :

Hi. I've been to the concert in Bonn on Sunday and it wasthe best ever.
You can tell Chris really likes to play for his fans.
I saw him first time back in 1983 and been to many of his concerts since.
But it seems like he is still improving.

Hi everybody! I´m 16 years old and I love CdeB and his music so much. I´ve watched his concert in Singen last week
(first row!!) and it was fantastic - the best show I´ve ever seen and I´ve been to a lot of concerts. I hope he will tour again in Germany next year! One thing about Chris makes me really sad: he said he won´t make a new album! I hope it was a joke. What´s his problem? He HAS TO record a new one!

Hi everybody! I´m 16 years old and I love CdeB and his music so much! I´ve visited the concert in Singen last week (first row!!!) and it was fantastic! I want to see many more but I don´t know if he´ll come to Germany again in 1 or 2 years to do a new tour. One thing about Chris makes me really sad:
he said he is too old (!) and tired to make a new album!!!

Hello Chris, hello everybody! It's only me, Markus from Gelsenkirchen ( Germany ), who is sending a new message today.Yesterday I have seen Chris live in Bonn (26.07.98)
it was really an amazing night ! 5 months ago I bought two cards for the show. One for my former girl-friend, her beautiful name is Sandra and one for me. Nearly 10 weeks ago my girl-friend left me and now I can really understand the lyrics of Chris' son g s. I still feel sad, I feel so empty, because Sandra was my "beautiful dream" the girl I wanted to marry, the "best thing that happened to me".
Often I sang for her beautiful songs like "It's me, and I'm ready to go", "Lonely sky", "Missing you"- sometimes by using the phone to sing for her during she was working - and many many more.
When Chris started to sing these songs, I was thinking on Sandra and I could not stop my tears. It was so .. I can't describe. But Thank you for the songs !!! I know they will help me. See you soon, perhaps next Sunday on the "Waldbühne" With best regard s

I suppose I'm one of the longtimers... one of the older fans who's been around a while. I became a Chris deBurgh addict in 1975, and continue thus. Burns my backside that all his releases aren't widely available in the US, and when I lived in Michig a n, I'd sneak into Canada to pick them up. (I still wish I had a CD of "The End of a Perfect Day" and the two latest collections.) Chris is such a pleasure to indulge. I was moved when the panning cameras at Princess Di's funeral landed on him... told e verybody I knew (because they were asking who he was)!
Thanks for this page. It's a wonderful treat!
Just think: 23 years of Chris so far for me!

Hello! Thank you for a fantastic site! I have been a fan of Chris' music since I saw the video for "Don't Pay the Ferryman" on MTV (back in the beginning) and bought the album the next day! I have been to England twice under the guise of being on v a cation, but actually had alterior motives: I needed to buy CdeB tapes and CDs! They are very hard to find here! I am looking forward to getting my hands on Chris' new releases; hopefully I can order them over the web, as I'm too broke to make another tr i p to London!
I really like your Q&A section: it sur helped to answer the many burning questions I've had for several years! This is probably the most complete celebrity fan site I have come across. You've obviously put a lot of work into it! Keep up the great w o rk! It's so nice to see there are others out there with great taste in music (like me!)! :-)

I didn't know that this page exists. Yesterday (at work) I just searched for something and I thought perhaps CdeB has his own homepage and there it was.
I'm a fan since the "Into the light"- Tour, just like the guy from Stuttgart. I really love Chris' songs. Every time I could see him on the stage it was a great event for me. Unfortunately this year he doesn't come to Dortmund or Grefrath (a little hall,

really familiar!). If CdeB should ever read it, I want to thank him for all the songs and all the wonderful hours he gave me (us) with his music. I would like to know him one day, just to talk, just to know how he is "in real life"!

. I called "POLYDOR" in Hamburg to ask when the day of release will be. They were not able to answer me. It is for me and my friends of course just a sad situation, because we like to sing each song with Mr de Burgh at every concert ( ... He will remembe r
... Two years ago in Munster ). So when we do not get the song before July the 26.th, we cannot sing with him.
When there are any news, please give us a hint !!!!
