I like you found DeBurgh by chance. I received Into the Light as a gift and enjoyed it much.
While in Europe, 1990, I had his tape and wondered if he had any other albums. IN a store in Seitzerland I found the album " A Spark to a Flame" I bought the album without second thought. Once I opend the cover, I found that he had many other albums.
I went to the store clerk and ordered the albums. Later, on a trip to London, found two new albums, and bought them. I enjoy his music very much, and every person I introduce to him enjoy his music as well. It is my greatest hope that one day I will b

e

able to see a concert on Chris Deburgh.

My friend Melissa and I are in High School and we love "Lady in Red" Melissa is even going to choose it as her Sweetheart Dance coorination song. It's great, and we both love to sing the words on our girls night out. By the way we are huge '80's mu

s

ic fans!!!

I was looking for a different CD to listen to while walking on the treadmill today and came across an old, much loved CD that I hadn't listened to for over a year. I put Into the Light on and managed to walk an extra 10 minutes. I once again discovered these sexy and sensual lyrics. The entire CD is a celebration of passion.
I have several other CD's of his, and I am going to get them all out again.
After walking, I looked for a web page and found this one. It's one of the most thorough and enjoyable pages for a celebrity that I've seen. Thanks so much for the update on CdeB's life and activities. I'd love to see him live in the US one day.

Greetings from across the pond, home of the Great White North.
While it may be in the middle of a cold winter here in Canada,
there's always the chance to warm the days events listening to Chris's music. Nice job on this web site, perhaps for an added touch could you add a download site for Chris's music either in wav for or using Real Audio 3.0 format. Even a chance to listen to some music live in Real Audio 3.0 format while browsing this Web Site

Yeah Good Stuff - except the notation (MUSIC) you have on the background is the song
"The Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze" which is not really appropriate.

Love the other background - excellent page thank you!

I just happened to visit your page looking for the lyrics of
"The lady in red" (The song of songs) I just have to thank you for showing me that CdB was more than just that song.
Recently I got "Spark to a flame, the very best of CdB" and all the songs are great. I would thank any who tells me which is/are the best albums, best songs etc. in order to get them!

I first experienced Chris de Burgh's music, as my mother got married to the tune of 'Lady In Red' ... but it wasn't until I borrowed her 'Best of Chris de Burgh' tape that I *really* got addicted! (And I have 'Spanish Train' to thank for inspiring an e

ssay that I wrote, which enabled me to pass English 12 a couple days ago...) :) This is a great page!

Bravo! The lights have finally begun to shine on Chris de Burgh. It was in 1984 that I first heard him, and needless to say, I was instantly hooked on "High on Emotion."
Ever since then, I have spent my time trying to explain to others that Chris de Burgh is more than just a one-hit wonder with "Lady in Red," and exposing them to his other numerous musical jewels.

Why is it that Chris DeBurgh always seems to be left out when talking about great 80's music? Pages like this one bring him into the light where he belongs!

Excellent Web site. Thank you for the wonderful job. I have always admired and enjoyed CdeB work but my wife and I recently attended his concert here in Calgary and we were swept away by the depth and sincerity of the man and his music. Since, then w

have been building or CdeB CD collection and I am hoping (somewhat longing) to see him in concert again.

Sincerely,

Dan

Great site, very informative. I've been a devotee for 15 years (that's scary!), and love the story-telling songs. Glad for Chris that "Lady in Red" was a big success, but definitely not my favorite song. Had the garter removed at my Wedding to "Pat

I have been to 8 concerts in the last 12 years, but none of them have ever seemed to be the "Same".

For me, the greatest concert I saw was last year at Hampton Court, with such beautiful surroundings and a superb orchestra Chris was really to be seen at his best.

Keep up the good work !

Thanks for prividing us so many news about Chris.
Do you know what I think is very ironic?
I live in Europe but I never hear anything about him.
I think it happens because here in Italy noone knows him,
so my only way to know something about him, and buy his music, is to travel the world! But now I travel the Net!
