I am happy to see that such a remarkable talent as Chris De Burgh has a following on the Web. I Have added a link to this site in my own pages. I found that this was the most comprehensive of the sites I could dig up. How about a dab of colour though ? :) Take care !

Few singer songrwiters have the sheer story-telling power that Chris does. I've always wondered what he was doing since "Flying Colors," his last release here in the U.S. Thanks for finally letting me know. Now I have some albums to try to track do

I fell in love with Chris de Burgh's music after discovering he had written so much more than just "Lady in Red." I'm afraid it's not so easy for me to get my hands on the albums, but I'm glad that I've found information on them so I can hunt them do

w

n. Thanks.

I have been a C deB fan since the early 80's. I did own every album he recorded until they were stolen. I even had "The Very Best of Chris deBurgh" which isn't available in Canada. I have rebuilt my collection, but if anyone knows where I can get "The Very Best Of...", Please let me know.
I saw Chris deBurgh in concert at the Montreal forum for his Man on the Line tour.
What a concert. I have missed his last two concerts here in Halifax. I am really looking forward to his next concert tour here in Canada.

G'day!(my friend suggested that opener)
Chris' music is right up there with the best around. His music has meaning, depth and above all, emotion. I have never felt that any song of his was fake (albeit several tounge-in-cheek). It's great to know that I am not the only one who appreciates his m

usic.
I hope he tours Australia soon so I can finally see his show. Drop me a letter as I would love to hear from other fans around the world.
P.S. "Blonde Hair, Blue Jeans" is BRILLIANT!!!!!!!

There isn't a day goes by that a Chris de Burgh CD is not playing in my home. From Far Beyond These Castle Walls to Beautiful Dreams is a journey of wonderful music and great storytelling! The Lady In Red and Patricia The Stripper is just the tip of

the iceberg of songs that will touch your heart and make you laugh.

My first real exposure to C de B was when he toured as awarm-up act for Asia (we went to see Asia) following the release of "The Getaway." Since then, I have bought three albums, and often wondered If he had other interesting stuff out (I don't get i

n

to record stores very often). Thanks for the info.

I imagine a concert with Chris in a little irish pub with an audience of about 80-100 people and Chris playing the old and slow ones...

Finally I find someone who likes C de B. as much as I do.
Here in Mexico he is not very popular, but I´m sure that it is because they haven´t heard him. How can anybody not like his great music with his GREAT words. He is just the best.
I recommend "High on Emotion, Live from Dublin". The best.

Great job! I'm a fan of Chris De Burgh since 1982 when I heard "Don't pay the ferryman".
His two songs "The lady in red" and "Moonlight and vodka" were quite popular in Russia.
The last very strange one was about Moscow and probably that made it popular.
For the first time (I hope not for the last time) Chris De Burgh visited Moscow in 1994.
I saw him in concert in Moscow. It was great. And his new album with orchestra sounds like a beautiful dream.
Everlasting music.
Thanks for this page!
Greetings from Sweden.

Wow.
You mean there's another album after "This Way Up"?
It was beginning to seem like I was the only real CDB fan in California (I've got all the other albums, but had to special order most of them)
I've been hooked since I heard "The Getaway" when I was in Germany at age 16.
Thanks for putting up the page

I kept on watching this wonderful page since October, and I can tell it got better and better. It's not only historically the first CdeB Web HomePage, but it's also the BEST. I'd like to stay here all day long, if there's a way that I could... In this

silent world, it's great to know that some great CdeB fans have made a great Cdeb Page. I'm Counting On You to make it better and better...

Absolutely wonderful. I really think that peolple like you must be appreciated for their un-selfish efforts.
You provided a breeze of fresh air to me. I am a big fan of CdeB since 1982 (or 83, I don't remember).
It is vertually impossible to get info about CdeB where I live. Again, Thank You!

Great page! I'm always impressed by the quality of volunteer efforts on the Net, and this one is especially current and well done. My interest in CdeB is somewhat tangential (needed some source material for a music video,
and needed a CD for a friend :-) but de Burgh's songs can be very beautiful and quite moving. See ya!

Really enjoyed the information you have on Chris.
I've been a fan since "Don't pay the Ferry man".
I almost have all his albums, he is definitly one of the BEST singer/entertainers around.
I saw him in concert in Ottawa back in 88,
can't wait till he comes back, I will be there.

Thanks Again.
