THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT INFO. - NICE TO SEE SOMEONE DOING A FANTASTIC SERVICE TO ONE OF THE GREATEST MUSICIANS AROUND.

I became hooked on Chris' music 3 years ago. I sent a letter to his fan club, but I never got a reply. I think his music is great. I also think it is a great idea to have a web page for his fans. Thanks!

It's a great home page. I've been a fan of Chris for about twelve years now. Any chance he will have another concert tour that takes in Montreal? I've seen him here twice. Bye!

I was wondering if there is any way to get my hands on the music video, "Don't Pay the Ferryman." Mine got taped over, and it's my favorite music video.

Apart from my critique below I have to say that I am a Burgh fan since I discovered pop music in 1982 and thus I am grown up musically with his songs. Among my favourits are "Satin Green Shutters", the entire Spanish Train album (one of the greatest i
n
the seventies as Supertramp's Crime of the Century, Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here, Led Zeppelin IV, Queen's News of the World, and Bowie's Ziggy), "In a Country Churchyard", "Crusader" (the album and especially the song), "Eastern Wind" (My absolute f
a
vourite together with the epic "Revolution"), the entire Getaway album (THE greatest album of the 80s!), "Moonlight and Wodka", the epic "The Leader", "Blonde Hair" and "The Snows of New York".

One of the greatest singer/songwriter with a little problem (from my oppinion): his stuff suffers from overproduction since "Man on the Line" in 1984. I think he should record unplugged or on the other hand supported by a good old rock band (why not S
u
pertramp - that would be a funny event, if you know what I mean...). It always makes me sad, listening to fantastic songs turned down by so-called "perfect" production and arrangements. He should go back to the roots, jump out of the wardrope and start s
i
nging.

It's a perfect homepage.
If it isn't a problem, i have a question.
I'm looking for the song, where's a line in called:
It's a classical dilemma, between the head and the heart.
I can't find the song in my albums.
Can you tell me, which album and title the song is ????
Thanks,

I like some other letters I read, discovered Chris on the INTO THE LIGHT cd. Then went to FLYIING COLOURS and unfortunatly never saw anything new until I visited the WWW and have read about others. Cant wait to buy more. Chris is one of three musici
a
ns that have fully appreciated over the years, the other two being Roy Orbison and Elton John. I dont know what that says of my interests, but there it is. Thanks for the great information... David.

Good idea to have all information about this great artist together. I am a fan of CdB since his album "best moves"
and I have seen him in at least six concerts.
What a pity that the URL of the sound samples does not exist anymore. Anyway I would be very interested in sound samples in "wav" or "mid"-format.
So I could listen to my favourite artist while working...

I've Been a heavy Chris fan since "Eastern Wind was a project in progress. Without a doubt, his finest ballads in my collection include "Broken Wings", "The Tower" (HUGE SONG!!!!!!!), At The End of a Perfect Day, and Every Drop of Rain (from Best Mov
e
s album). I've seen him twice and am very proud to say his band is almost totally CANADIAN!!!! As one of the elder fans, I implore all fans to re-visit the rrots of his music. Boy, will you ever fully appreciate his body of work. Happy listening!!

Great page on one of the greatest musicians. A tip to all the new CdeB fans, get into his early stuff as well. No better music than Another Poor Boy, Lonely Sky, Crusader, In a country church yard etc. etc.
It is however impossible to choose a best song from material such as Diamond in the Dark, Borderline, In the snows of New York, Carry Me, Spanish Train etc.
I've seen him twice in Pretoria, and will see him everytime he comes this way.

Great Page! I'm so glad I found it! I can't believe Yahoo Search doesn't find anything on CDeB. I have been a dedicated fan for more than 15 years now. I am a Bulgarian working in China. I have always dreamt to get married in a small rustic church to the music of

I have been a fan of Chris deBurgh ever since The Getaway came out. I think I have all of his CDs except Beautiful Dreams. I'll have to order that one. His lyrics are remarkable and he ranks as my favorite solo singer ever. I also wish that he wou

I have adored Chris de Burgh's music for years! I'm frustrated by the fact that I can't find his music here in the USA. A friend from The Netherlands tries to keep me up to date by sending me Chris' tapes. What are his latest recordings? Will he e

My first Chris De Burgh album, Flying Colours, was given to me by my ex girlfriend, and I will always be thankful for that ! After receiving that album, I didn`t listen to anything else. I soon bought several of his other albums... I don`t usually get
"religious" about artists and music, but Chris`s words and music just hit me deep down !
His music is so filled with intense feeling and cincerity, it`s just so reel !! Chris De Burghs music has followed me through lifes ups and downs, and will always be a great part of my life. I would really love to go to one of his cocncerts one day, actu
a
lly I`ve decided too !!! Love from the biggest fan in Norway (?), Roger Sandbakk...
"The time has come for me to take my bowes, and leave the stage, but I feel I`m just beginning. There`s so many things I want to say before I go, but I`ll be back, to sing again..." (Crusader, "You & me").

I have to agree with everyone else's comments! Chris DeBurgh is by far the most talented artist I've ever heard. I have all of his CD's except for "At the End of a Perfect Day". If you don't have "Beautiful Dreams" yet, it's a must (it's fully orch

strated!) For anyone in the US who is trying to get his CD's, get a connection in Canada. That is where I got at least 10 of mine. I'll check back often...
