**** Absolutely great page **** (four stars :) . . . I was hooked ever since hearing "Lady In Red" as a teenager (even dedicated it to my ex, but that's another story I'd rather forget) . . . Anyway, keep it up, and I'll be back for sure.

I don't know why I was surprised to find pages on Chris, but I think it's great! I've been a fan since 'The Getaway'. I was able to see him during his American tour at Six Flags over Georgia. His concert is in my best top 3 I've ever seen, which includes Billy Joel and Phil Collins. I look forward to seeing updated info on Chris' activities.

I saw Chris DeBurgh in Carre in Amsterdam last night, june 25. I was the first one to give him a rose and I got three kisses in return!! He said ' It's so easy, all you have to do is stand on a stage, sing a few songs and beautiful girls give you flow

e

rs" I am very happy. The concert was very good, he was in a good mood, and very funny.

Chris Deburghs "Don't Pay the Ferryman" was the first video I saw on
MTV The first week MTV went on the air way back when. I immediately went out and bought the album. He is great.

Hello! I'm also a fan of CdB. Tonight I'm going to his concert in Amsterdam. It will be the third time that I see him live on stage. He's very good.

Joe, nice job on the guest book. Any idea on when CdeB is coming to North America again? I saw him in Winnipeg the summer of '88, during the Into the Light tour. Fantastic concert - maybe the best I've ever been to. It would be worth the drive up to Regina or Winnipeg to see him again!

Thrilled to find this page! Been a Chris DeBurgh fan since I found Spanish Train back in the late 70's. My only regret is that I've never been able to see him in concert. Wish he'd come to the States to tour! Keep up the great work with the
page. I'll check in often!

Hello Joe,
this is a great page.
The guestbook is very funny to read. So many CdeB fans from so diffrent countrys. I'm a Chris de Burgh fan since 1982 and have seen him in about eight concerts.

Finally I find someone who likes Chris de Burgh as much as I do. I hope that some of you agree that there´s no one that mixes incredible music with amazing lyrics as well as he does. He´s amazing. I wonder when is he going to come here. Mexico wants Chris de Burgh.

Hi, joe I first heard CdeB's song in 1983. Then I was a freshmen of Yonsei University(a Korean University in Seoul). And I was very impressed and bought his albums.
I would like to know that is there any plan Chris to visit korea.
truly yours, s.h.ahn

My first CdeB album was Into The Light which I bought with my first CD player. Now I have all his albums, and my ex and I lived our relationship surrounded by his music. The albums that 'were' us were Man on The Line and The Getaway.
Now she's gone, but when I hear The Head and The Heart and Peaceful Waters, I'm with her again. Chris' music seems to speak the right words at the right time. Thanks Chris. And Luisa - I still love you more than life itself. I should have found for the heart.

I join the rest by saying that I too have enjoyed CdeB's music since the early '80's. Sure wish he did more video's though!
I kept looking for his music and was told by the music stores that he hadn't released anything after Flying Colors.
I was amazed when I did a Web search and found so much information on him. Albums I'd never heard of before!
I was more then tickled to find how many he has released...no I just have to figure out how to get them.
I would love to get the Beautiful Dreams cd, which isn't listed here in any stores yet. I did just get
"Live from Dublin" and as someone else says, it's really great! I hadn't heard 'Spanish Train" or "Lonely Sky"...is just like being there. Any chance of him doing an American tour?

I would like to get some more info about the background of some songs... What was his idea when he wrote it, what did he mean.

I've been following C de B since the early 80s whenI was a teenager. I had all of his albums on cassette and when I switched to C.D. I vowed that I wouldn't just duplicate my music collection on disc......but I had to go and buy all the C de B albums!

!

I've seen him live a few times (although not for a while now) and I agree that he's a great live performer. I'm an amateur musician myself and have performed some of his songs in various concerts in the past. I sang "In a Country Churchyard" at a friend'

s

wedding reception after sh was married in......a Country Church! I've met and worked with David Caddick (who played piano on I'm Counting on You) and I know one of the orchestra members of the Beautiful Dreams concert.
I'm a fan!

I was so pleased to find this site and to know there are so many fans. I am Irish and currently living in the US. I grew up listening to Chris de Burgh. His music reminds me of some good friends and good times as a young girl. Unfortunately, his w

ork is hard to find in this area, so my relatives send me the cd's or cassettes that are unavailable here in the US. Borderline is one of my favourites. I regret that I have never seen him live - but I hope to one day and I look forward to it. Thank y

My husband introduced me to Chris de Burgh's music when we were first married and I have been completely taken by it ever sinse. We had three chances to go see him while living in Germany, but every time a concert date was announced we couldn't go.
W

e hoped we could see him in our last year there, but he didn't have a concert near us that year. We have regretted not going to at least one of those dates. It would be great if he had a concert in Alberta for all of his fans here. Content with CD's f

Hey! What a delight to find other fans worldwide. I feel pretty isolated here in the U.S. where most people still have never heard of Chris...or think that "The Lady in Red" is the only thing he's ever written. And thanks for all the effort that went i

nto creating your page, Joe! If, as you say, it's still under construction, all I can say is that I can't wait to see what it looks like when YOU think it's finished! Thanks again, and I'll definitely be checking in from time to time.

Just looked at this page for the first time. Looks great.
I was looking for the lyrics of the song "Child is born".
