Just a few hints a small thumbnail of chris on the open page would accent the pages look . Also include an area for downloading complete songs in the newer format.

Ever since I've known his albums, I've been listening to them and the songs are very inspiring and very emotional to listen to.
Everytime I listen to his songs, it helps me a lot to realize about other problems people have. And I hope he keeps up the good work.
Thanks alot, Chris!

I have been a fan since the Getaway. His music is a different kind then what there is today. Chris's music is more then the words that you hear, there is meaning behind it. I am thrilled to find a web site and to know that I am not a lone fan liking a
forgotten man. Thank you!!!!!

Firstly, thank you Joe, it's nice to be able to click out of life and into Chris de Burgh even on the net :) I first heard him when
I was 4, in 1979 and well, "The Girl With April In Her Eyes" is me.
I have since bought every single album that I could get my hands on
- he is my favorite voice, artist, individual on the entire planet.
You have done such a great job here - please do keep it up.
Also - I'm upset that he didn't come to the Vancouver area on his tour
- any chance you may be able to find out if he'll ever tour out this way again? If not - well, I'll just have to move overseas.
Thanks again.

Hi! I think Chris De Burgh is the best singer alive! He has helped me through some terrible times with his music. My Dad courted my Mum with his hit song "The Ladt in Red", and when I was eight, Mum suffered a stroke and died. It was a really tou
g
h time for all of the family, and I never really completed my mourning for her until recently. When I first heard Chris's song "Carry Me (Like A Fire In Your Heart), it helprd me immensly to overcome my grief at Mum's death.
On a lighter note, I'd like to thank Chris for making the world's best music. At 17 not many people my age are into Chris's type of music. They don't know what they're missing. Keep up the good work!

Ever since I was a little girl, I have been fascinated by his music. The lyrics, his voice, and the music all blend to create an entire world that I love to escape to. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get a hold of any CD's or tapes here in the Sta

p.s. My sister, Sandra Trotter, also made an entry in the guestbook. She had her baby November 7. It was a little girl. 7 lbs, 10 oz & 22" long. She's beautiful. Her name is Victoria Sheridan Michelle. :-) Feel free to write Sandra and congratula

Hi Joe, thanx for this gorgeous page. I have also been to Chris' concert in Stuttgart on Tuesday and had the time of my life. Being a Chris de Burgh fan for 16 years now this probably doesn't mean to much, but anyway - a lot of "neutral" people also w
e

Yesterday I visited Chris de Burgh in Stuttgart. It was a great acoustic evening. Chris played 90 minutes only with guitar and piano, a very special one-man-show. After a short break he sang with orchestra and chorus and it was still amazing ! Three h
o
urs of splendid music - most of the songs were ballads and these are still the best songs of Chris de Burgh. It was wonderful to hear 'The snows of New York', 'Borderline', 'Lonely sky', 'The head and the heart', my favorite songs at the moment. When wil
l
Chris release his next album with 'Riding on a rainbow' and other new songs ? Does he plans to release another album with orchestra ?
Many greetings to all the CdB-fans all over the world from Tom in Stuttgart.

I've always loved your music as it speaks to me as I speak to myself. The song "For Roseanne" helped me to cope when my 13 year old daughter who had been living with me since she was 3 went to live with her mother. I was devasted over the loss of my
baby, until this song helped me to verbalize my feelings for her. I'm happy to say my daughter and I have a great relationship today and part of that goes to a fellow I consider a "soulmate" of mine. Reverend Lariat

what country he is talking about?
Finally, I wonder is Revolution fictional or true?

I have been a fan of Chris de Burgh's since I heard Spanish Train in '84. I know all the words to all his songs from Spanish Trian, Far Beyond These Castle Walls, Man on the Line, The Getaway, Crusader and am working on the later ones. I used to sta

home from school just to sing with his tapes. Last September Chris was in St. John's and during the concert I got up and sang The Girl With April In Her Eyes with him. It was a real thrill to be able to sing my favourite song with my favourite singer/

Dear Joe,
Congrats on being the first person I've almost talked to on the 'Net. I actually live in Staines near London but my home is Dalkey, just a couple of roads up from the man himself. I've even taught his kids art before, My Dad's girlfriend, Tiggy, runs the
art school they go to.
I discovered Chris de Burgh years ago when Dad played me his tape 'Flying Colours'. From then on I went 'Chris Mad' and bought up every tape I could find. As a result I have about three copies of over half his work. I see him in Dalkey frequently on my t
r
ips home. Chris has always been a symbol of my home village and when I miss it I just get out my Chris de Burgh tapes, (and a bag of marshmallows), and have a good remeniscence session.
